What if you were born into a more "wealthy" family?

First of all, I'm not assuming anything. This is just something which came to me when I was watching anime. :3

Okay, so the idea is what do you think your life would be like if you were say higher up in the family scale? What I mean is born into a family which is more, shall I say, wealthy in terms of how you live, and if you were say born into pseudo-royalty, and everyone like that think they're better than everyone else. How would you act? Would you be happier with yourself? Would you think you're better than everyone else who is below you? Would you ever think of changing this lifestyle for your current lifestyle?

To me, I think I would prefer to live a normal lifestyle, of a slightly less-fortunate family. I wouldn't want to live in a community like that where the expectation is that you're meant to consider yourself better than everyone else, or above them. If it meant I had to sacrifice some family who expected me to be a complete ******* to the rest of the society, than have some nice friends I can rely and depend on, then I would take that route.

I love being middle class. Especially if you're saying pseudo-royalty. Those people have to be proper like 24/7. I'm proper like maybe on the nights I go home to eat with my parents. And when I say "proper" for me, that's just table manners. I don't think I could handle doing much more without laughing.

Honestly, it's hard for me to take stuff like that seriously. I can not.

I would love it and I would use daddy's credit card for everything and go shopping all day every day like on TV. And be snobby and stuff. :|

I would sell my soul to be born into wealth. Fancy cars, servants waiting on me hand and foot, and enough cash to import as much anime as I could ever dream of... I would be in heaven :)

Sure beats the heck out of the life I'm living now xD

I mean being born into wealth would also make you smug, and thinking you're on top of everyone else; the world revolves around you essentially. Sort of like a double standard.

No, I would hate to be born into a wealthy family. As I am right now, I'm pretty greedy, and yeah. If I were born into a wealthy family, I would probably be a spoiled brat, and that would be terrible. That might not be the case, but I think the former is more likely to happen. I'm absolutely fine with the family I'm in right now, even if I can't get most of the things I want. It's fine. xD;

I like to have more personal wealth, rather than a wealthy family. I wouldn't want to be expected to think I'm superior to everyone else. I'd prefer to be the 1st wealthy generation of that family, careful with my money, but still spending it, and not being a snob or anything.

Then again, I'd probably become paranoid that every girl I met was just after my money, and eventually drive myself crazy. But rich people are crazy, right?

Who doesn't want to be wealthy? Anyway, I curse not being wealthy, but at the end of the day, I'm learning many valuable lessons because everything wasn't handed to me on a shiny, silver platter. Those people, from my life experiences, have a very warped perception of life and practically no appreciation or understanding when it comes to working hard or earning something. Those are the ones I feel sorry for.

Who you are is defined by how you grow up. If you where born into a different situation then you would be a different person altogether. All the questions you ask may have different answers if we where raised differently. Now If I suddenly became wealthy it wouldn't change me much. I might have less stress due to bills, but I would still be the quirky accident-pron person I am.

I wouldn't like a sheltered life as to me that is a healthy and rich family. Where I'd be, no? I've been homeless and never met my dad and still have family I've never seen for 18 years and I just met them finding out I'm an uncle of a baby girl and sister. What is life without struggles, to me it's nothing. All I know is I'm more of a man my real father would ever be because I can face the world with what it has in store, hard times or not. I've learned to deal with what I had and what abuse I've been through with my moms boyfriend. My life is perfect the way it is and I have experienced a lot.

Life would be boring if I was born into a wealthier family. The point of life is having challenges, and keeping up with all the taxes, spendings, etc. If you can pay that off easily and having basically anything you want would be fun, but in the long run it'd be devoid of challenges and very boring.
