    Hey I know I always thought Bibarel was a Beaver and yes he/she is...so I always thought the same with Bidoof but when I checked the pokedex just messing around it said Bidoof was a tiny mouse and Bibarel was a Beaver...I mean hello it is obvious Bidoof is a beaver too...but instead they put a tiny mouse? What do u guys think...? Were u guys shocked or thought it was not a bit awkward?
    I have to say I was shocked!!! ':D

    Lol yes seeing the picture Blue_Drifblim put up I still see it as a Beaver...Also a reason people say BUCK TOOTH BEAVER...it has a tooth just like a beaver and its feet...not the bit of a mouse...
     
    Yeah, it's a Beaver. It looks liked one when I first played the games. It should be buck toothed.
     
    Just take a look at the pokedex...does anyone see a familar face with Bidoof and a mouse? Not me...
     
    By that logic, I guess it wouldn't make sense for Caterpie not to be classified as a Butterfly Pokemon... which... doesn't really make sense...

    Just because an evolution is one kind,doesn't mean the others in the line HAVE to be the same kind. Take Remoraid and Octilerry for example. Of course, it never made sense, but the writers intended that. So, oh well.

    Another example is Wurmple. Seriously, Metamorphosis has to be taken into account too.

    So basically, it WOULD make sense for Bibarel to be a mouse since it was related by the writers to evolve into a Beaver, because both the Mouse and Beavers are in the Rodentia order, thus it does make sense.

    Therefore, I need to run away from Hyperreligous Christians now for supporting Darwin.

    It looks like a Beaver with a bush tail instead of a flat one.
     
    Really, screwing up classifications is actually nothing new in the Pokédex and has been happening since Gen I. *motions to the Sandshrew line, based on pangolins and labeled mice*

    In other words, it really doesn't surprise me, but I think GF's just very fond of labeling things mice, even if they very clearly aren't. (For that matter, yes, Bidoof is a beaver.)
     
    It does look like a beaver but I see where they got the 'Plump Mouse' from. I don't know how to explain it, it just is there!
     
    hmm makes no sence at all...but in the world of pokemon, sometimes not all things are supposed to make sence...

    EDIT: Off Topic...I just reached 900 posts...thanks to Bidoof/Bibarel...lol
