Ah well. I don't use adium for anything other than msn occasionally, so it's really not my main client. Though I feel stupid for not knowing the above statement.
 
I use:

Yahoo Instant Messenger
Windows Live Messenger
AIM (Never planning to get back on it)

I use YM to talk to IRL friends or when MSN is acting ghey, and I use WLM for online friends.

Actually, Adium isn't a "port" of Pidgin. It's just based on the same IM core (libpurple).

That doesn't mean that it's using the "Pidgin" framework.

Also, I doubt that any Adium developer would say that they copied Pidgin.
 
I like to use:
Windows Live Messanger (alot)
Yahoo Instant Messanger (sometimes)
AIM Instant Messanger (Hardly ever only If a friend of mine is on)

It looks like everybody preferably uses MSN Instant Messanger!
 
These days, it's just WLM. Everyone I really care about uses it. I have an AIM username, but I never use it. :/
 
I use MSN/WLM, YIM, ICQ, Skype, and MyspaceIM. I mostly use WLM, because people seem to love it for whatever reason and refuse to use anything else. XD Skype I use for phone calls/voice chats or whatever you call them. I don't use ICQ much. I would like to use YIM more often, but like I said, people seem to like WLM more. I only use MyspaceIM for people I know IRL.
 
I only use WLM these days, though I did have YIM, Skype and some other things at one point. Since most of my friends are on WLM, it's easier for me just to use only one IM client.
 
I had no clue there were that many o.o

ichat here...works a lot better with macs (in fact, it ONLY works for macs =D...)
 
I use WLM almost exclusively. I still have AIM for when I need to contact someone who uses only that, but all the crazies seem to contact me over AIM so I'm wary about signing into it these days. :| I don't bother with anything else.
