It was also the last single-card I bought, as prices of singles these days are just absurd.

Well I went the opposite route & bought some japanese gyms & jungles for 50p each off some guy on a bootsale lol but tbh that shud be the price nowadays

Probably about $17 on a near mint charizard card (base set). I am actually happy because the card was in better condition than I thought. I won't be paying that much for future purchases anymore though... The most I spent at one time though would be $71 for complete base set...
