4th Gen What is up with Celebi?

    when gsc came out, i fell in love with celebi. but, hte thing i hated was i only had one chance to even see a celebi. i took the hcance, and caught it, too!

    when rse came out, my freind got an action replay. he made a celebi appear in the game. that got me wondering. the only chance a celebii could be caught was the event in 2000. there were no events for him/her after that.

    my question is, why did they bother programming celebii into the game if there was no chance to get it?
     
    Because there was a chance of getting it, so it needed to be programmed into every game. There's always a chance of it getting onto someone else's game, and if they only coded celebi into certain regions of the world it would glitch the rest of the world.
     
    Hmmm...i can see your point....but i think NINTENDO RIP OFF EVERYONE OUTSIDE THE USA AND JAPAN BECAUSE YOU CAN ONLY GET POKES LIKE CELEBI AND DEOXYS ETC. IN EVENTS IN THOSE COUNTRYS AND ITS NOT FAIR ON US BRITS (yes i'm british) AND ANY AMERICANS WHO LIVE THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF AMERICA TO NYC
     
    aLSO, why is celebi the only pokemon you cant get now?

    Most people forget, untill i saw that page, i never knew EVERY pokemon was obtainable.
     
    As of now, there are two Pokemon that are unobtainable without hacking / cheating: Shaymin and Arceus. The rest, you can all get by some way. They programmed Celebi into the game so more people would come to the events. Nintendo makes a lot of money through events, and giving away Celebi is giving away nothing to Nintendo. That's why they programmed Celebi.
     
    If you go to the event,then maybe then and there people might buy nintendo merchandise and they will win money.

    Also - Celebi is obtainable from a special 'bonus disk' that was sold with Colosseum. But finding one now isn't that easy...
     
    When is not about the money and the consloses. You know what I will give an example.

    I did want to have a Celebi in my Diamond for a long time...
    But what if the person that wanted a Celebi lives on a different country and there are no events there?
    Could Celebi be impossible to get?
     
    No you got gts for that. If you believe its real.
