So yeah, just talked to my brother over the phone, and he mentioned his current Heart Gold Team as he approaches Goldenrod. I'll let the WTF and the lulz speak for itself:

Latios
Slaking
Registeel
Umbreon
Vaporeon
Ivysaur

All around Lv20 or so.

Also, he claims he'll just "Giga Impact Whitney's Miltank with Slaking."

His team left me speechless.

Apparently they are if you have an old GBA-era AR, a hacked-up copy of Ruby, and a method of trading them to HG (which for my brother was likely Ruby----->Diamond----->HG).

My brother's always been a hacker :/ It's why I hardly ever battle him.

It had, among other things, Ice Beam and Drill Peck :O
