2nd Gen What is your favourite town/city?

I always loved Vermilion City. I LOVED the music there. :)

Olivine City is my favorite. Besides the awesome music, it also has lighthouse, and is home to hottest gym leader. ;D

Ecruteak for G/S/C. Its when your pokemon finally start getting decently strong and you can see a bunch of legendaries there.
Celadon for R/B/Y. Its when your pokemon start to actually get strong with decent attacks, theres the huge mart with all the elemental stones, and you can go ahead of time and get a bunch of pokemon before the storyline progresses, its pretty much the peak point in the game where you get all the good Hm's, items, Tm's (etc.)

They're all related to ghosts. Lavender Town has the Pokemon Tower and Ecruteak City has a Ghost type Gym.

Lavender, Celadon, Ecruteak and Goldenrod seems to be the most popular though. I'd wanted to live in Ecruteak actually.

I have to say Blackthorn in my Silver. I remember that after three hours, I finally leveled my Dratinair into a Dragonite. XD

That, or Pallet Town. The nostalgia is sooo high there that I might cry of the good times I spent on that town.

Hmm... I usually like the bigger cities, and my favourite in Kanto is definitely Saffron City ^^ As for Johto... Hmm... I'd go for Goldenrod, probably :D

My favourite town is from Leaf Green. It is Pallet Town because i like the music for it.

Lavender town. Whenever i meet the Marowak when i was a kid i always wondered why i couldn't catch it. Marowaks pretty cool so it put my spirits down. But i just love that big ghost tower :D.

mines in Johto is Lavender town because I like the music and Celadon City because of the huge Pokemart and game corner. As for Johto its Goldenrod city because of it being the biggest city in Johto

As many others, I liked Lavender Town best (R/B/Y) - yes, of course because of the music, but also for the ghost pokemon in the tower and the sad story about that Cubone and it´s mother.
Well, i like the music of the Pokemon League too.

In G/S/C... Ecruteak City... (surprise...) Because I like the style of Houses, the two Towers and that theatre with the Eevee-Evolution-using-girls. Great music themes in that theatre and in the burned-down tower as well.


[Well... just to complete this... Saffron City is more than nice in both generations, for some reasons... ]
