these are some of my favs so i always try an get them
 
Changed up my team a little. It's now:
Samurott/Keldeo
Electivire
Chandelure
Flygon
Lucario
Simisage/Serperior

If I manage to get the Keldeo event, I'll use Snivy as my starter. If not, Oshawott.
 
I had wanted to be surprised and decide as I went along, but my little cousin came practically squealing to me about how Lucario is in the game(early in the game) and showed my the animated trailer with Kyouhei. I was like "Crap, I missed out on using Lucario in Platinum. It will be on my team."

So, I went through the new dex(which has a lot of Hoenn pokemon. Is that a possible remake hint?) and for now, I'm going to have:

Emolga or Galvantula(still undecided on my electric type)
Chandelure(I love it and wanted to use it in Black, but I already had Reshiram)
Starmie(I've been wanting to use one on a non-mono team since forever. Tied with Milotic as my absolute favorite water type)
Lucario
White Kyurem
Serperior

Edit: I'm going with Emolga and I'm going raise a Hydreigon since White Kyurem will probably be banned from the World Tournament.

I don't know whether to make a team in advance or to just be surprised and choose as I go. Its killing me to check the extension to the Unova Pokedex. :[ I do know that my team will involve Snivy and Keldeo, though! :D
 
I haven't completely decided, but I'm thinking something along the lines of:

Vaporeon
Magmar
Sawsbuck
Sandslash
Braviary
Haxorus

I'm trying to use pokés I've not used before :)
 
Well, I plan to ditch my starter pretty much straight away. Cause I don't want to evolve Oshawaddwe...
But my team will eventually end up something like:

Riolu
Mareep
Azumarill
Growlithe
Ralts (Eventually into Gallade)
Trappinch

... well I'll evolve them... but that's what I plan for my team to look like when they are all cute and unevolved :3
 
Going heavy steal type with water starter and volcarona powerhouse (get it at lvl 35!)

Lucario

magnezone

flygon/crobat

I doubt I will attempt to keep 6 all the same levels since I usually only keep 2 - 3 main pokemon

This team is more probable than definite but I know I only want to use four monsters during the storyline.

2) Grumpig
3) Haxorus
4) Chandelure / Cofagrigus
5) Scrafty / Lucario
6) Skarmory

No starter in my team mainly because I don't really like any of them...
 
I used this team in Black 2:
Samurott
Lucario
Espeon
Excadrill
Golurk
Virizion
I used Arcanine, Swoobat, and Drifblim at some point too.

If I have to do it again in October, my team would probably be:
Eelektross
Zoroark
Leavanny or Sawsbuck
Drapion or Crobat
Seismitoad or Jellicent
etc. I still have so many Pokemon to try. :O
 
The only poke I know I'm going to use for a fact is Probopass. God I'm so excited. I was thinking I'd do a team composed of pokemon with facial hair (so probopass, walrein, stoutland, conkeldurr, electivire and possible a samurrott/jellicent/beartic/whatever other mustached pokemon there are) but I'm not too sure about that.

Roserade.

A pretty balenced team for starts.
