    Tell me what made you like your favorite pokemon


    ill start:
    For a while i liked croagunk over Toxicroak, until i watched a Pokemon ep called "losing its lusturous"

    i saw Toxicroak absolutely destroy Brock's croagunk and from that moment on i knew Toxicroak was THE coolest Pokemon.
    Just seeing Toxicroaks raw brutality and strength really convinced me.

    Good question.

    I like Gliscor mostly because of Ash's Gliscor from the anime. Then I learned it has solid stats, a great movepool, and is quite popular on OU teams. It's been in the vast majority of my teams ever since. =D
     
    I love lizards and interesting colors, so it seems like Kecleon was made for me. I just really liked him from the moment I saw him.

    Tangela is just messy and crazy and I think it's awesome. Unlike many people, I actually really like Tangrowth.
     
    I like Blaziken because in Sapphire my first Pokemon game , he practically was my only Pokemon . And I always had a special love for Blaziken , since then .
     
    "A Wild Duck Pokémon. Farfetch'd makes a delicious meal, especially when cooked with leek. Because of this, Farfetch'd is nearly extinct."
     
    I like cats. Giovanni has a Persian. Hence my love for Persian. Plus, Persian's class and elegance makes it perfectly fitting for a person like me.
     
    Torchic was my first Pokemon, and when it was finally evolved, I just thought Blaziken was completely awesome. I still refuse to carry him over to a DS game.
     
    Well, on Crystal I had a Hoppip which was awful as it only knew useless moves. I managed to EXP. share it up to a Skiploom, then train it to a Jumpluff. I was amazed that such a cool Pokemon came from something so terrible! And that's why Jumpluff is my fave Pokemon =3
     
    I'm obsessed with mermaids & have been since I was little. when I saw Vaporeon & her tail She instantaly became my favorite pokemon
     
    When I first played Gold, my Brother had given it to me. He was jes' startin' out and had Chikorita as a Starter so I thought 'OK, why not?'. As I went through Gold, I was growin' more and more reliable on my Chikorita! When I finally took down the Elite 4, I knew I had found my new Favourite Pokémon :3! Chikorita was jes' so awesome from Start to Finish! And it's little Cute-like Appearance sealed the Deal for me!

    Magnemite is basically round and round things are cute. The big cartoon-y eye also reminds me of those googly eyes you can get in craft stores. I also like the sound it makes in the games. It's just an oddball pokemon and I like that.
     
    Lucario, Aura, that is all.

    Oh! and the chick riding on a Metagross in Destiny Deoxys made Metagross one of my favorites.
     
    Hmmm...

    I like Ice types in general, but I guess I like Glaceon more because of how graceful it can seem. Its beautiful and powerful. x3
     
    I came to love ninjask because of its superior speed, and because if played correctly it is a beautifully engineered baton passer. Working in conjunction with my seviper, it's quite a show.
     
    I don't have a current favourite Pokémon, but I used to like Flygon. It was because of hwo he looked and I was just like "He's so cool!" So yeah. :)
     
    Mightyena's style, colors and whatnot are really attractive for me, even though it doesn't have much of stats. Besides, it was the first Pokémon I caught and trained in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, so that immediately earned it a spot of respect! xD

    I do have a kind of preference for Dark Types too, like Umbreon, so that gives me yet another reason. :D
