What Pokemon game should I get for the DS Lite?

    Hello. I got a question for everyone who has the games. What game should I get? I was leaning towards to Diamond, but Pearl is good too. The last Pokemon game I got was Red for the Game Boy. So I haven't played the other games. Besides, I am not good playing them. ^_^; I always end up fainting the Pokemon instead of catching them. I really need a lot more practice. So yeah, that is the game I want to get next, but which one though...

    Diamond is generally more popular than Pearl probably because Pearl has pink boxart but I actually prefer Pearl because Palkia is much stronger than Dialga.

    Oh yeah I see Platinum is going be out soon. It is out right now in Japan. We probably won't get it til mid-2009 or something. So I think I made up my mind. I will get Diamond for now. And later on I will get Platinum. :3 Well I am going to play some Pokemon after years of hiatus. XD
     
    I actually think you should wait for Platinum. If you need something Pokémon-related to keep your attention in the mean time, you should look into getting one of the Mystery Dungeon games since those are really good.

    Wait for Pokémon Platinum. :3

    Thanks for the answers guys. I will take these into consideration. I guess I will wait til Platinum comes out. But I will check out the Mystery Dungeon games and Pokémon Ranger 2: Shadows of Almia. Those sound interesting. And I do need some Pokemon games. =D So I will try those.

    EDIT: Okay, I am getting Diamond, one of the Mystery Dungeon games, and Pokemon Ranger 2: Shadows of Almia. That will give me time to get ready for Platinum. :3

    Oh wow, yeah but I don't live in England. So I won't get to have Shaymin. You are lucky if you going to get Platinum. But I am fine with Diamond for now.
