What Pokemon games do you own?

Main games:
Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black.
Spinoff games:
Colosseum, XD Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Ranger.

Emulators don't count? awww there goes my almost-perfect score

I own: Gold, Fire red, Ruby and Heart Gold. Yeah, it's not much, but that's because with all my handheld consoles I wanted to buy a variety of games in order to keep my interest balanced.

Handhelds: Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold Silver, Crystal, Diamond, Pearl, Soul Silver, and White.
Consoles: Pokemon Stadium 1, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Pokemon Battle Revolution.

My Sapphire version was stolen in 5th grade after I had made a lot of progress which made not want to play Pokemon for a while, so that's why I don't have anything from the 3rd generation.

I have at one point or another owned:
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Yellow
Pokemon Pinball
Pokemon Crystal
Pokemon Ruby
Pokemon Sapphire
Pokemon Diamond
Pokemon Pearl
Pokemon HeartGold
Pokemon White

But I've sold and/or lost all but the latter five on my list.

Pokemon Red

Red
Blue

Fire Red

This was once a fairly impressive list, alas.

I only have a DSi, so I only own Pokemon Platinum, SoulSilver, and Black. I used to own Blue, Red, and Yellow way back in the day, but who knows what happened to those =P

Uhhhhh let's see what we got here...

Spoiler:

I'd really like a copy of Green. That'd complete my life. But yeah, that's my collection. I only really play the main series and Stadium 2/Colo/XD though. Don't care much for the others.

Can I ask why you started buying the English versions? Also, why do you still keep the Japanese versions if you like the American ones now instead of re-buying the old ones in American form?
Discuss! Also! Emulators don't count.
Thank you. Agreed.

I used to own the American versions of a handful of the games, but sold them all in favor of buying the Japanese versions. At this point I only have Red and White (ooh Japan colors! :)), but that's plenty for me at this time.

Pokemon Fire Red.
Pokemon Ruby.
Pokemon Blue.
Pokemon Crystal.

I'm intending to buy the Pokemon DS games, but I just spent money on other game and stuff (cofcofBluRays)

I have Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, and Platinum.

I do not care for nor will I ever buy a spinoff.

Actually, I haven't imported Pokemon Red and Green when it was released (I was a kid back then.) I imported the Japanese version of Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Gold, and Silver from eBay in August 2010 after I bought Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire at GameStop and getting Leaf Green for free.

The reason why I prefer the original region over the localized for First Generation games has to do with Nintendo of America's decision making when localizing Red and Green. Unless you read my posts in other topics, I know it's crazy for you to believe this... but I have to say this. I haven't noticed the localization problem until Fire Red and Leaf Green came along, so I had to research Green. When researching Pokemon Green further, it turns out that Nintendo of America used the engine of Blue, the third version of Red and Green, to localize Red and Green and call them "Red and Blue." I am not kidding at all. Blue is actually the missing link, not Green, because I was playing Green all along when playing the localized Blue. Who in Nintendo of America thought localizing the first two versions using the third version's engine is a good idea? It's like Square (now Square Enix) tried to localize Final Fantasy II for the NES, but since SNES is out, they cancelled the localization of Final Fantasy II thinking it's not going to sell well, and moved on to localize Final Fantasy IV under the name "Final Fantasy II." Same goes for Final Fantasy VI being localized and called "Final Fantasy III." Just like Pokemon Red and Blue, we haven't noticed the localization problem with FFII and FFIII, until Final Fantasy VII came along for the Playstation. So yeah, Pokemon First Generation was one of those games with localization problems when it comes to the regional branch of the video game company. That is probably why I imported Pokemon Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow off of eBay.

I only own 1 copy of the following:

Pokemon Red
Pokemon Blue (lost this with my purple gameboy :()
Pokemon Yellow (got this when my gameboy was replaced with a yellow one)
Pokemon Gold
Pokemon Crystal (the battery's dead tho)
Pokemon Sapphire (still have the phat non SP gameboy too)
Pokemon Stadium 2

Hey You Pikachu - I sold this to gamestop actually, since I lost the mic.

I haven't bought a game since Sapphire and I don't have a DS/DSi/Lite/XL/3DS. Everything else I have is emulated.
