Hey everyone, just curious about some of the worst Pokémon in the DS games, due to moveset or stats. They can be from any region but im talking about their Gen 4 movesets and stats.
Right off the bat I would say Lumineon. I always liked the design, in fact it was the only other water type besides Empoleon that appealed to me when playing DPPt. But unfortunately it can't hit that well and its movepool is quite bland.
Luxray, while a strong Pokémon overall, deserves a higher speed stat. Rampardos deserves a speed buff as well. For something that charges at and bashes its head into opponents, you'd think it would be faster. Pachirisu deserves an attack/special attack buff and would benefit from learning Hyper fang at the very least. Cherrim, Floatzel, Lumineon, and Drifblim all deserve better movepools.
I'd say some of the bugs take too long to become viable in a gameplay, and it's a bummer. Despite jokes about him, I genuinely considered using Kricketune on a team, but even after evolving he was a royal pain to level up. Similar thing happened with Spinarak in Heart Gold(if we're counting it since it's part of gen 4). I'm not bug enthusiast or anything, but it's nice to have at least one on your team for psychic and dark coverage, but these bugs made it not feel worth it because they were so obnoxious to use. Like I said, it was a bummer.
