Undoubtly this poll has been conducted before, but search = lazy. So I was just curious which game was your favorite?

Sorry, I didn't count the Console games, they dont have the word "version" in them, so they didn't count for me. Secondly, if your favorite isn't up there, pick your second favorite.

I left out HG/SS because they have only been released overseas

sapphire of course :] crystal comes in 2nd, followed by emerald, then platinum.

Crystal, it was the first game I actually maxed out the play time, and also the only time I enjoyed filling my pokedex.

    Emerald!

Pokemon Emerald, hands down. I love the game overall. Every concept to it is just sheer awesomeness. Having the national dex immediately after beating the game: check; best (and first) battle frontier: check. There's a lot of other things I could list, but am to lazy to.

I can't even find the other favorite game thread, so this one can stay. Anyway, I pick Silver. What, does it come as a surprise to you? It shouldn't. What else would I be named after? But anyway, the game (eh, and Gold) was a revolution at the time. Comparing it to RBY, the graphics were stunning, music was amazing, and sprites looked like what they were supposed to represent. Don't get me wrong, though. Green sprites are my favorites. But just in comparison it was a crazy improvement, and that's just excluding all the enhancements, like item selection, genders, breeding, what have you. I'll shut up now.

G/S/C easily, had the best pokemon, travel to Kanto also, had the best music, didn't have stupid 3-D graphics, there wasn't like 100 legendiaries and 500 pokemon, you battle 16 gyms, you had the day and night system, and you battle Red.

The only thing bad about it is that it left out the first legendaries, and the E4 wasn't that big of a challenge.
