Anglo is short for anglo-saxon, short for a descendant of the children of the angles (the original inhabitants of england) and the saxons (germanic invaders who settled there). It's a fancy way of saying a white descendant of the english...
 
Yeah, I remember in Social Studies in sixth grade talking about Anglo-Saxons. I wasn't really interested so I didn't pay attention. We were studying castles and medievil times andstuff.

It was about heritage, Race isn't really the proper term to say, since we're all of the Human Race.

If you'd like you can check this forum to see if there's any other thread like it, if not then you can start a thread about the same discussion and continue the discussion! ^_^. But until then, try not to post in it, since this thread is pretty old :O
 
Well my race is basically through a french bloodline.That`s why I was fond of your signature Jordan.The flag was pulling me in.XD

Well, I think that as long as the thread isn't over two months old, then it is allowed to stay open! ^_^; Any longer then it would be considered reviving a thread, but I really don't think that this is too old. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's what I've heard.

I thought it was one month? bleh...

My race is Caucasian. My ethnicity is mixed 5/8 Hispanic (Mestizo, Spanish) and 3/8 White (French, British, Scottish). Culturally, I'm more Hispanic than White. By my physical appearance, you'd think I was 100% White. Really only my close friends learn that i'm mostly Hispanic, while the ignorants continue believing I'm pure whitebred...(the fact that my last name is "Black" doesn't help anything...)
