Hello all!!!!

I'm in the need to talk to like minded folks about the wonders of Pokemon. Being a bit old (26) my friends aren't interested so I'm looking for new ones!

First of a little about me. I've been playing Pokemon on and off since I was 8 and the first game I played was Yellow. So much so that I didn't even know that in other games you could pick your starter! that blew my mind. I stopped in my teens but rekindled my love when Fire Red/Leaf Green came out and played those to death and been addicted to the idiotic and nonsensical pokemon world ever since. Don't get me wrong I'm not a "Genwunner" for instance my favourite pokemon is Hawlucha, and I believe X/Y are the definitive and best pokemon games out there. I have a Y file that's my main but I also have an X one that I restart all the time just to play through again cos' It's so fun.

I also have a small youtube account that I started very recently and I'm doing a little crappy Fire Red Walk-through for the lulz.

I'm looking forward to talking to you all and making/posting in threads. It's good to be here!

No worries about age; in fact, we have quite the range of older members who enjoy pokemon, in fact we have even older members than 26, so, no matter what the age, we're all good buds here, and we'll love to discuss any sorts of pokemon topics with you! I loved Pokemon Yellow; it was my very first pokemon game myself! Ah, and great to hear that you're enjoying the Gen 6 games, I think they're fantastic too!

Mmm, but yeah, here on this forum, you can discuss any sorts of pokemon topics that you want, and we will love to chat with you about any thing else in mind, upon the non-pokemon boards, or just with VMs and PMs! So yeah, enjoy your stay, and hope to see you later. :]

Don't worry about your age, I'm almost 22 (in fact my birthday is two weeks from now) and I still love Pokemon. Anyways, really nice to meet you Fedarik!

Yellow is actually a nice game to start with, I was more of a late bloomer since I didn't play my first Pokemon games until Ruby & Sapphire. I did go on to play pretty much almost every main series game after that, and I can't wait for Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and return to the very region that I first played at just 11 years old. And wow Hawlucha is a very interesting Pokemon, it's a fast attacker that looks pretty boss. X & Y are also among my fave Pokemon games as well, only just behind 5th Gen, but hey if you're interested in discussing them you can head over to the Pokemon X & Pokemon Y board which has some topics you can get started with.

And maybe I might check out your YouTube channel one day, and good luck with your FireRed LP and hope everything goes well. If you ever need anything you can always ask me or a staff member, and don't worry we far nicer than you think. Have a splendid time Fedarik and I'll be seeing you around!
