What updates do you want to see within the game?

I was thinking about this earlier and I'd like something to happen with the cool button colours Easter egg in the menu. This is the cool glitch where if you keep the Pokéball icon held down as the menu loads and then keep your finger pressed down whilst scrolling over the various menu buttons, they'll all appear different colours. The colours seem to represent the three legendary birds with a purple one thrown in (Ditto? Mew?), so I'd love for them to add some sort of code system with this or 'password' system where you can get cool items or Pokémon from it haha.

Mass Transfer - if I have 20 Pidgeys to hand off to the professor, it would be great to be able to select them all somehow and send them all at once. That process is a pain after a long night of hunting :)

Oh god yes definitely this! I mention this all the time to my friends whilst playing together and we're going through the inventories, it takes soooo long to transfer all of the rubbish filler that you'd never need in a lifetime. An option to mass transfer would be beyond wonderful.

First and foremost, definitely fix the bugs. I think everyone wants that.

Secondly, I'd really like a way to customize the moves or attack power of individual Pokémon. It's annoying to finally get a decent Pokémon you've been looking for, only to see its attacks suck (i.e. Gyarados). Either with TMs or Move Tutors or something, but c'mon, give us a little customization here.

Also, trading would be the bomb.com. I know they're planning on implementing this eventually, but it really is a core essential to the Pokémon franchise. Besides, I really want the Nidoqueen my fiancé has and I just can't seem to catch one myself right now. So, there's that.

I can actually do without the Amie thing. The little animation when you tap them is sufficient in my book.

For me the tracking system needs to be fixed. Usually I assume any Pokemon that appears on it that is a silhouette is at least 60 miles away in any direction. Because 100% of the time when a new Pokemon spawns nearby it doesn't appear on the nearby tab first. Of course now every Pokemon is 3 steps away, I'm not even sure what 3 steps means like on a working game? How many miles away is 3 steps, between 4 miles and Antarctica?

Then the order, I'll have pokemon jump from the top row to the bottom row then back and I'll be walking in one direction. Also if I choose the wrong direction and the pokemon disappears even if I turn around the pokemon is gone. Do the pokemon move around or do they stay in one spot for a short amount of time? They usually disappear while I'm wandering looking for them. Or they weren't there to begin with.
The compass makes no sense either, it's pretty much useless.

I would like to see teaching pokemon different moves and for them to have more moves available, would be interesting to be picking between a more powerful move or one that hits more often and would be better for dual types as often they cant learn a move for both of their types.
With the nearby i would have preferred the system they showed in the trailer where it would point you in the direction that the pokemon is

When trying to catch a wild Pokemon, there is a button in the top left that looks like a little man running with wind behind him. Tap that and you will abandon the wild Pokemon and go back to the overhead map. The Pokemon will still be there on the map in case you want to retry :)

I never noticed that, thanks so much for the tip.

My daughter and I play together a lot, beyond the mass transfer I mentioned earlier, she thought of one... she wants a way to TURN OFF the evolution animation because when you're evolving pidgies or rats or whatever for the XP, it takes a while. The transfer thing is by far the more tedious, though.

I'll be honest, I really only started playing so my 13 year old daughter and I would have something to do together, but it's been a lot of fun. It's neat to have her teach me something new (she's a major Pokemon, and Anime in general, fan). Plus we spend time talking about what to evolve, what to hold on to, etc. When we decide to take a gym, there's a discussion about which one of our guys we're going to use against which of their guys and if we even need to switch guys.

Also, I'm SO glad to see that others get 3 footprints ALL the time. We kept reading that it's supposed to go down to 2 and then 1 and no matter how far we walk, drive, run, whatever, we've NEVER seen less than 3. We're not crazy! ;)

Another thing that needs changing is to make more spawn points away from town/city centres, in the main series games most the wild pokemon were in wild grass between towns but in Go most the spawn points are around pokestops and the majority of them are in middle of towns. We have lots of fields around my town which would be perfect for grass pokemon to be found but there are only a few spawn points and they only seem to be the usual rattatas and pidgeys

Anyways, onto the point of other generations being added, I was watching a video from a YouTuber named Twintendo and he says that 2nd Gen Pokemon will be included in an update to be released in December, with 3rd Gen likely to follow around mid 2017. He's saying that the new generations are getting added on a likely pattern of every six months so that Niantic don't overload the players with too many Pokemon at once so they're doing it in phases.
