3rd Gen What was the hardest part of FR/LG when you started playing it?

Ditto. Trying to beat Misty when you started with Charmander was a bit of a toughy, plus I didn't even bother to capture a Pikachu when I had the chance. -_-;

Meh, tch, I start all my versions with fire-types, tch, so beatin' Misty was tha hardest thing I ever had ta do. Lol, when I was done beatin' her Starmie my Charmeleon had only 1 HP left an' tha rest of my party was faint. XD

not much really but prberly catching pokemon was the hardest and training them to the best!!

When I started playing it the hardest part was getting my pokemon up to decent levels.XD

definately beating misty. she was really good, and considering i wanted to beat her so i could get oddish and hadn't trained that much yet, she kicked charmander and pigeotto around [starmie is EVIL!!!!]

I'm not sure... Misty was easy 'cause I used Charmeleon to Faint Staryu then weaken Starmie with Pidgeotto and finally lower the boom with Charmeleon but I think the Hardest part was beating Lorelli... her Lapras wont budge!

I had not much trouble in gym battles. Except Koga, I forgot why, but I remembered it took me forever to beat him.
I remebered I lost in a trainer battle once, I think it was near Mt. Moon. I remembered I had to quickly heal my Pokemon and I didn't have any healing items with me. And then a trainer I hadn't battled with yet caught me and I lost xD
And in the beggining of the game, going around without running shoes was a pain xDD;

myne was pokemon leauge cause i ahd a level 48 venusaur 48 pigeot 48 vaporeon 50zapdos 50 articuno 50 moltres and i defeated pokemon league on my first go on fire red

But the real challenge for me was to try and catch the legendary birds. Honestly, you run them down to a little HP, either Paralyze/Sleep/Freeze/etc.. them and you chuck an Ultra ball at them...and another...and another...and you're soon left with all your 99 Ultra Balls wasted and no Bird in either one of them... <-- My normal situation with the pain in the necks -_-

Yeah catching the legendary birds is really hard, but catching the legendary Mewtwo is almost impossible for me. I might've tried over 30 times...Thankfully I saved my masterball..

The hardest thing was probably going through Mt. Moon. I mean, it wasn't actually that hard, but I detest Mt. Moon. I know it like the back of my hand from helping my own Yellow and from helping my brothers with their versions, and it just got too boring to bear. After that it was all good.

In contrast, I like Rock Tunnel because I can get through it without Flash because of that experience.

Well, since the game was a remake, I knew I had to go through all that crap I went through in Red...

First off, Mount Moon. I have a pet peeve about traveling in long dungeons, so there you go. At least I got my Charmeleon to level 23.

Second, the whole Rock Tunnel fiasco. But to make the whole thing fun, I didn't get Flash and trained all my Pokemon to level 40 before I got out...

Lastly, the E4 (the second time). I had no idea their pokemon grew about 10 levels since the last time I challenged them...and I got screwed over bad by Lorelei...

its actually to fill all ur dex :cheeky: :cheeky: (i think)
