    Do you remeber the first pack you bought at the store.You tear open the pack to see what kind of cards you've got.Now if your a collector like me you'll rember the card that first slid out of your first pack.My first card was a metopod that looked like this.

    To tell you the truth, my first card was given to me by a friend. He let me choose either a Pikachu or an Abra. You can guess what card i chose...

    No don't think so, I got that card when I was like...2? And my bro was 4 thats when I started getting into pokemon and I didn't see the movie until I was 6
     
    Mine was a Charmander i think, i traded it with my friend for his Mew though.
     
    I just now recently (half a year ago) started collecting the cards instead of the games (lolz, and I still collect the games too!), and it was about six months ago I got my first card. I remember it as if it were yesterday.

    I was excited as I gave the casheir at GameStop four dollars and ten cents for a single Diamond and Pearl booster pack. Once I climbed into the truck with my dad, I gingerly opened the pack. The first card I saw was the card that all of my friends want to trade me for today (which I wont), an awesome looking, shiny, and powerful Garchomp card. Behind it was a Charizard, then a Torterra, then a Rapidash, then a Hippodown, then TWO Sceptiles, then a Cresselia, then a Wailord, and finally, the last card, was a pretty cute looking Turtwig with a berry on the card.

    If you ask me, I stasrted out my collection well. Then my brother gave me all of his about hundred older card, for he wasnt interested in Pokemon anymore. So ya, I started out pretty good. I dont think that booster pack was randomly placed and the cards in it randomly chosen, I think I AM THE CHOSEN ONE!!!! :D
     
    A shadowless, unlimited run Ponyta from the base set. My friend gave it to me in the after school program I went to since he had obtained a duplicate.
    Man, I loved that card. It still brings back memories to look at it.
     
    when i saw a pack in stores my mom bought one for me. i dont really remember all the cards but i do remember i got a holo poliwrath and i was so excited. I showed it to everyone in school the next day. Sadly i dont have it. I think i traded it for a blastoise
     
    A regular run original Eevee. I got it at a friend's birthday party in a favour bag. I still have it kept separate, I think. I remember my first holo, too -- Raichu. I was, like, nine, so I was pretty psyched.

    I have no idea... I think it might have been a Holo Machamp from the first Edition cards I got in a starter deck.. I believe I still have it, although I was more interested in the other cards in the deck...
     
    My best friend gave me my 1st card for my birthday. It's a Chansey Holo. I still have it in the little plastic protector ^^
     
    My first card was a bulbasaur from one of the fruit roll-up box lol.
