What would be, to you, the perfect Christmas tree?

While I was being forced by my mom to set up an artificial tree resulting in many serious injuries and blood cell deaths and my great frustration from setting up the blasted tree...

I thought of this topic XD. What kind of decorations would appeal to you as the perfect tree? Pretend the tree is already perfect in proportions and leaves and whatnot. Just let your imagination run wild. That means I won't be surprised if Jolene pops up and says "one inhabited by fairies"

That'd be a rather awesome tree regardless.

Anyway, my ideal tree is the tree my family puts up every year. We recently started buying live trees, which is a lot nicer to have around than that dusty old plastic one we used to put up. We string it with multicolored lights and make certain that there's neither too many or too little in one place, then we pull out the ornaments and decorate. This has always been my favorite part. We have ornaments from every Christmas for years and years back, so opening that box is like going through a time machine. My favorite is this little green phonebooth with Santa and all eight reindeer crammed into it. It used to make me laugh as a kid, so that was the one ornament my mom made sure I got to hang.

So yep, that's my ideal tree. It's kind of sad that neither me or my brother really help out much anymore... when I was little it was always the three of us, since my dad never really spent Christmas with us. Now it's usually just my mom who decorates, but I always make sure I get to check out the old ornaments.

I would want a tree with all kinds of video game decorations, like the Master Sword, Mushrooms and stuff like that and at the top a nice Super Mario star.

I'm a simple person, so my tree would just be a tall tree--not too tall with Pokemon-related ornaments.

First off, has to be fake. I've dealt with a real Christmas tree once and it just didn't work out. I'm all for classic green although white isn't so bad either. Size doesn't terribly matter, as long as it fits in with whatever room it's in. Then, some lights, preferably white, although multi-color is cool too. Maybe some garland, but not necessity. The most important part for me, as of late, is matching ornaments! When I was little my family had a bunch of mis-matched ones. Although it made for a very personalized tree, and that I can appreciate, it didn't look the neatest. Lately I've been into matching sets. o__O

...my perfect tree is so generic, wtf.

My perfect Christmas tree would most likely be an artificial green tree (we used to get real ones, but they were a big hassle to clean up afterwards). I prefer multi-colored lights, but I might also want a tree that has the built in white lights so it would be easier to decorate. I would also want silver garland on the tree to reflect the lights, instead of beads (I find them to look kind of tacky). Finally, I would want mostly red, green and gold ornaments, but I'd also put up a few of the special ones that I've had for a long time. That would probably be my perfect Christmas tree!

The perfect tree imo, is pretty basic... A green tree, with solid white lights, and colored bulbs (the round glass things). The bulbs reflect the lights, and it looks a lot better than just having colored lights. Other than that, I wouldn't put anything on it.

Something Traditional.. Like I would like to see the Star of David on top of my Christmas tree and also the tinsel and ball shaped decorations. Some candy canes would look lovely too and a medium in sized Christmas tree. All of this stuff would make my perfect Christmas tree.

The white frosty looking one with the multi colored lights. And tons of retarded ornaments that I made in elementary school for cheesiness. :D

It has to be a real tree. My family has bought a real tree every year and I can't picture ever settling on a fake one. My ideal decorations are really the simplest ones. I love the colored glass ball ornaments or even the ones with designs are fine for me. The lights have to be colored for I can't stand the blandness of all white lights. I'd like to see some silver, gold, or red garland to go around it along with the addition of candy canes. Lastly I'd put a star on top. My family always uses an angel, but I prefer the star. I also like the idea of a train going around the base.

    I don't really know...
I like those glass decorations some people use, si I suppose i'd put those.
And some nice lights! Yep, that's about it. I was always minimalistic about decorating...

First of all a real tree, is and always will be. I would ideally want colored lights, the white ones we put up every year bore me. As tall as the ceiling, and video game decorations. Also some garlands, any color.A train going around the base would be cool. I would go with any ornaments, not too heavy though, that always makes problems. And on top, a star. My family always uses this big golden ribbon, but a star is better in my opinion.

One with lots of frills and overly-fancy stuffs.

    And covered in royal purple.

    With a yin-yang orb.

Speaking of which, I should set up ours. It's probably the only Christmassy thing I'm getting. -_-

Mine would be decked out with those seizure-inducing multicolored "chaser" lights. The ornaments would feature anime girls from my bishie list. And some of those colored glass ball ornaments. A star on top, preferably lighted. And maybe a bit of yellow police crime scene tape to fully capture the Christmas spirit

My family has decorated our tree the same way for pretty much forever. And I think it's pretty darn perfect.
Multicolor lights with a combination of bulb ornaments and random ones: homemade or just other ones that were gifted to my parents or something. And then we eventually get around to putting candy canes on it. I guess we used to put tinsel on it, but that just gets messy. And we've always gotten a real tree. We go out and chop one down the day after Thanksgiving every year. I'm pretty big on tradition so I don't think my perfect tree is anything different from this.

A dead zombie impaled on a metal pole with bullet ornaments~

Or a regular tree decorated with zombie ornaments~

Hmm. I guess my "perfect" tree would be one with bright colorful lights, and many ornaments with things like photos of friends/family, ornaments bought from trips, etc. Nothing too spectacular really, bc I like simple things.
