What year did highschool start for you?

For me it's 9th grade, I've never heard of schools starting as early as 7th, to be honest, though some obviously do.

When I started in High School, it was the ninth grade for me. The school system back in the day for me was K-5(Elementary School), 6-8(Middle/Junior High School), and 9-12(High School). Started my freshman year back in 1995. That was the best times of my life. I think my freshman year was the best out of all of them. My Junior year was the hardest. Graduated back in 1999.

I guess that'd be considered Year 10, if Kindergarten is Year 1? Or, if for some reason someone counted Preschool and Pre-K as years, Year...13, I suppose? Because I had two years in Preschool, one in Pre-K, one in Kindergarten, and so on.

Year 11 if you just count Pre-K and Kindergarten as years, since I was in [an elementary] school when I was in Pre-K.

I think for most people in the US high school starts at 9th grade.
Meaning I started HS in 2001, which seems like such a friggin long time ago. @_@
