What decks are you working on making at the moment? What themes/Pokémon will they use? Feel free to ask for tips!

I'm in the middle of making a Dark/Grass-hybrid deck but I'm finding it hard to choose bosses. I'm thinking Darkrai EX and Genesect right now, but they seem a tad... basic? Given that most of the Dark-types I have seem to work based on hand manipulation it seems a bit odd to add some random grass beatsticks in like Genesect, but perhaps that's what the deck needs to keep it competitively viable haha. What do you guys think?

I currently don't have anything going, but I've been thinking about giving a Blastoise/Keldeo deck a shot since I finally may have enough of both of the core cards and that type of combo is generally my preferred deck type as a player. I get the feeling that this archetype falling out of favor, though, probably due to player weariness of seeing these two together.

Which Genesect? The regular or the EX? Either one kinda feels like a throwaway in a Darkrai EX deck because Darkrai's strength lies as a support 'mon.

ive been thinking about making a keldeo sesmitoad deck cause sesmitoad dose 80 and you switch it with a benched pokemon then you could put in keldeo and switch him back with sesmitoad make sense?

Are you planning on using Float Stones on those Keldeo EX? The retreat cost of Keldeo isn't free unless you're using those. Keldeo EX's Ability does not allow it to freely retreat out of the active spot, only to Rush In like the ability's name implies. Swapping Keldeo in on Seismitoad's move doesn't make sense since you're just leaving a 2-prize Pokemon active that could have done the same damage as Seismitoad for less energy (2 Water and 1 of any other Energy is all it takes for Keldeo EX to attack and do 90 damage). While your head's in the right place trying to think of unique combos, using Seismitoad as your attacker and Keldeo EX is going to come back and bite you more often than not, at least against sharp players who'll pick up on the fact that you'll just be switching between the 2 constantly, saving their bigger attacks for when Keldeo gets swapped in to get more prizes.

Im currently tossing around the idea of Beedrill/VirGen combo. It seems like a possibly powerful deck that can still have the catcher ability as well as do 100 damage to bench pokemon that escape from Beedrill with G Scope. It seems like a pretty solid concept.

Beedrill hits for 60 on non ex + 30 for virbank. Then snipe around with Genesect's Megalo Cannon for 100 to active and 20 to the bench that ran from beedrill. Or even catcher out something with high retreat cost and no energy with red signal and just use G Scope to snipe out things on the bench.

The main reason for the existence of this deck is for Anti Virizion ex.

The only thing is that would be a really tight deck.
