Since I really can't think of anything right now, I'd have to say a few months for the 4 books and Twilght movie I bought online because 2 of the items were preordered.

After the announcement of D/P I waited around, a year for the English release.

About 17 months (1 year 5 months) since October 2006 for the biggest disappointment in my life.

First thing that comes to mind is this laptop that I saved up for three years to get.
