4th Gen Whats the point of ET pokemon?

    I mean, I got a Kyogre from my HG, and I imported Rayquaza and Groudon from my Emerald. So- what do I need the Groudon and Rayquazza from the Embedded Tower for? Are they special or somethin @_@?
     
    They're probably only there to allow players who don't want to play the GBA games to have a chance at obtaining them. However, obtaining the Orbs in the first place means you've seen a Kyogre or a Groudon already so it doesn't make much sense.

    They're like trophies I guess?

    You get the red/blue orb without seeing either. You don't get the jade orb until owning both a groudon and kyogre found in the enbedded tower.
     
    Ask questions in the Help thread...assuimg that you're asking a non-rhetoric question. =P

    But they're just there...because the programmers decided to put them in, really. =P Might be because they aren't obtainable in this gen alone, maybe they thought it'd be something extra and fun for the player to do, etc - and that's it. Note that getting both (i.e. trading) unlocks Rayquazza too, so there's another in the 'give something extra for the player to do' department.

    Anyways, thread closed - answered and I don't see much discussion coming from this. Same could be said about Lugia and Ho-oh, or Mewtwo, etc, etc. =P
