What's your Ash's Favourite League Battle? And

My favorite is Ash vs Gary from Johto. It was just so tense and they really did a great job showing how much both wanted to beat each other and Ash swinging from heading towards a quick defeat to beating Gary with Charizard. Ash vs Harrison following that is a close second.

Ash vs Ritchie is my least favorite. It just felt like such a cheap way to end his run, and you can't help but think of what Ash should have done differently to win.
 
Best: vs Paul. Still the best battle as in culminated in Ash finally overcoming the rival that had beat him time and time again, while at the same time proving that Ash's methods were better than Paul's, the results just took longer (my only criticism is that Infernape hogged that battle and lead to Torterra and Staraptor being fall guys).

Worst: vs Tomo. Yeah. That guy with the Altaria? Didn't get to see that battle because we instead wasted time on a ****ing Furfrou.
 
Not really sure, but I liked very much Ash vs Brandon (The third battle lol), it was a shame to see Charizard doing almost nothing to that Dusclops but it was an awesome battle!
Ash vs Paul of course, it was awesome too, so I agree with Frozocrone on this one.

Now about my least favorite.... I think I like all battles. Well there is an exception maybe but I can't remember right now.

Edit: So sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the title of the thread so I guess Ash vs Brandon isn't a league battle :p

Even if it wasn't part of a league, I reaaaally loved this battle, too! Charizard's early loss added a huge factor of unpredictability (and it still put up a decent fight, at least), while also making way to give Bulbasaur and Squirtle the justice they deserve. I never would have expected Bulbasaur to both win AND tie, but that outcome felt very satisfying to me, haha. xD

Now in terms of league battles... I don't even know which one is my favorite! On one hand, Ash vs Paul was an amazingly intense battle (both story-wise and action-wise), but the way Torterra blatantly got the shaft (again) always rubbed me the wrong way. ;__; On the other hand, Ash vs Sawyer wasn't quite as intense, but I still enjoyed it just as much! Also, I might be weird for saying this, but Ash vs Kenyan (Stephan, I think?) is up there as one of my favorite battles, too. xD

My least favorite is Ash vs Ritchie, because that loss seemed way too poorly executed, honestly. Team Rocket's scheme beforehand didn't make things any better, and I'm pretty sure the point of that was to get rid of Pidgeotto, who could have won against Butterfree. <__<
