    My Brother has been Nagging That Ho-Oh is better than Lugia he even asked his friends on MSN whos better and they both said Lugia so he for no reason blocked them XD So i'm gonna ask on here

    Um... Okay... Odd topic...

    Lugia, it has the grace, the magnifigance, the moveset, the stunning look... The movie appearance... It's Flying/Psychic - which is slightly cooler than a remake of Moltres...
     
    I personally like ho-oh. maybe because i got him first in gold version, but idk. i like its tail XD
     
    Lugia! It just looks cooler if you ask me.

    Not only that but the baby one in the anime was just so cute. Ho-oh didn't appear enough.
     
    Ho-oh. It looks more like a bird than Lugia.

    Ho-oh also made an appearance in a movie. We just don't realise Mew can transform into it.
     
    Ho-oh rlz. I like the idea of a Phoenix pokemon
     
    I love the idea of a Phoenix Pokémon. But Lugia seems better in the games.
    Now, I don't really care who's best in the games.
    Which means, Ho-oh wins, for its wonderful design and idea.

    HO-OH isn't a moltres remake! Moltres is a bird on fire whereas HO-OH is a phoenix. Lugia for somereason receives all the attention while HO-OH is better!!!!

    And what is a phoenix? A bird of fire.

    Anyways, I like bird and fire Pokemon, so Ho-oh goes down extremely well with me, the bright colours certainly help my opinion. It's got a nicer habitat at the top of that tower too. :)


    Now, Ho-oh is effectively the same as Moltres when you look at it, but every Pokemon episode and game version is the same in basic structure, so someone would be a hypocrite in my eyes for preferring Lugia based on the grounds that Ho-oh is apparently a remake.
    If Ho-oh is a remake of Moltres, Entei is clearly a remake of Arcanine, no? Now, Entei is very popular, another hypocrisy there.

    You can't make 300+ Pokemon and expect no two to be the same, if not similar at least.

    My point was that HO-OH was based on the phoenix-like creature in japanese myth while Moltres is not.

    Also Swampert is almost a remake of Quagsire.

    Lugia, by far. I loved the movie it was in, and I preferred it over Ho-Oh in the games as well, it was much more flexible. And, in my opinion, it looks much more original then Ho-Oh, which bears a strong resemblance to Moltres if you ask me.

    But, don't get me wrong, I still like Ho-Oh, but Lugia is better <3
     
    Lugia and ho-oh are both equally awesome pokemon. Lugia is more tailored towards defense, and ho-oh offence. I think they are both very well designed and I dont see u could compare them like that anyways...

    ho-oh stands for the golden sun

    I admit I love 'em both,but I think I'll go with Ho-Oh.Plus,I think it deserved(yes deserved,it's now been two generations,you think they'll go back that far?)a movie as well,or at least one with it fighting Lugia,I dunno.
