What's your favorite Pokémon [of Each Type]?

Umbreon still remains my fav. pokemon even after such a long time.
Personally,according to me,it is d best eveelution to have been created.
It has d highest special defense of all dark types and overall it is quite a good pokemon.
Also,due to its close association with night and moon,it still retains a special place in my heart.

Normal...Snorlax...unbeatable with Body slam,Snore, Rest, Belly Drum combo
Fighting...Infernape...just looks great and fights bravely
Bug...Butterfree...brings back memories from the original anime series...
Flying...Pidgeot...played an important role in the anime, looks majestic
Poison...Gengar...I don't like poison types too much, but Gengar is cool
Ground...Groudon...a legendary beast, looks powerful, was important in the anime and games
Rock...Onix...whenever I think of rock type, Onix comes into my mind, it's an icon for rock types
Steel...Steelix...same as for Onix
Ghost...Gengar...that's the first ghost Pokemon I trained in Pokemon crystal, it's powerful
Electric...Pikachu!!!...that's my most favorite one, so cute and brave...this Pokemon is an unmatched idol
Grass...Bulbasaur...I like its look, it played a significant role in the anime, I love starters
Water...Lapras...a really wise and helpful Pokemon, accompanied the protagonists on orange islands
Fire... Charizard...a story full of effort is hiding behind Ash's Charizard, I loved those episodes
Dragon...Dragonite...a really unusual perception of dragons, serene, nature-bonded creatures. Beautiful idea
Ice...Lapras...already mentioned why
Dark...Absol...is a dark type although it doesn't really act like that in the anime, an enigmatic creature
Psychic...Alakazam...that's the one and only supreme looking psychic type, what could embody that characteristic better?

I prefer 1st and 2nd gen Pokemon. However, there are many great Pokemon in later generation, too...

Legendary: Rayquaza, is really cool, strong and dragon type, my favourite type.
Non-legendary: I don't know well. Maybe the coolest are Magmortar, Magnezone, Salamance, Chandelure, Haxorus and Metagross

Grass: Simisage. Had it in B&W, was awsome.
Fire: Blaziken. My first starter i chose was Torchic. Love this so much!
Water: Milotic. Just beautiful.
Flying: Staraptor. Pidgeot can't use Brave Bird or Close Combat.
Normal: Meowth. I <3 him in the anime.
Fighting: Blaziken. See above.
Psychic: Medicham. Got up to Master Rank in contests with it.
Dragon: Garchomp. Great moveset.
Ground: Garchome. See above.
Ice: Froslass. Ice and ghost. Only time those 2 are combined.
Bug: Wurmple. First pokemon I caught.
Steel: Skarmory. It looks cool.
Rock: Boldore. HUGE help in B&W.
Electric: Elektross. No weaknesses.
Poison: Toxicroak. Helpful in D&P.
Dark: Spiritomb. See Elektross.
Ghost: Sabelye. See Spiritomb.

Grass: Exeggutor l I love the character design and its really strong.
Fire: Blaziken | This was a tough one. I went with Blaziken because its so OP.
Water: Carracosta | This one was really tough. I went with Carracosta because its so cool looking.
Flying: Crobat | Weak movepool, but it looks awesome. The only reason to catch a zubat.
Normal: Snorlax | Awesome character design, really useful.
Fighting: Hitmonchan | Not sure why.
Psychic: Slowking | I love the slowpoke line. Not sure why on this one either.
Dragon: Dragonite | Because its the OG dragon.
Ground: Diglett | Because its ridiculous.
Ice: Walrein | Dont really like any ice types. Walrein looks the coolest i guess.
Bug: Scizor | He's just the best. Period.
Steel: Empoleon | Love the typing, character design, and usefulness.
Rock: Phyperior | Because Rhyperior.
Electric: Eelektross/Emolga | Eelektross for badassness, Emolga for being so darn cute.
Poison: Muk | Whats not to like?
Dark: Zoroark | So many cool dark types. I chose Zoroark because I have one and it owns.
Ghost: Gengar | It looks cool and it is super useful.

Fire: Torkoal | I love the idea behind having a defensive fire-type, even if it doesn't work in practice.
Water: Corsola | Unbelievably adorable.
Flying: Skarmory |One of the only flying-types that I like, most likely due to its steel-typing.
Normal: Snorlax |Incredibly useful to me whenever I use it.
Fighting: Hitmontop |I love its design and it has a great ability
Psychic: Wobuffet |Totally unique Pokemon which is incredibly fun to use.
Dragon: Altaria |Really pretty design. I went back to catch a Swablu the first time I saw one.
Ground: Stunfisk |Unique typing, odd stats for a ground-type, and pretty nice design.
Ice: Cryogonal | Really interesting stat distribution, fun to use.
Bug: Forretress |I really like its design, and I've always had an affinity with defensive bugs.
Steel: Empoleon |Great Pokemon; found it really useful in Pearl.
Rock: Rhyperior |I don't know why, I just think it's cool.
Electric: Manectric |I love it's typing and design, plus it has some nice stats.
Poison: Swalot |I found it so useful in Emerald that I've loved it ever since.
Dark: Umbreon | Good design, good typing, good stats.
Ghost: Cofagrigus| Mummy is an awesome ability, and Cofagrigus itself isn't too shabby a Pokemon.

Anyway, I voted Infernape; it's strong and fast at once, and it has a good movepool. Fire monkeys are cool too.

I voted for Blaziken. It is one of the best Pokemon yet. I use one all of the time, and its fighting type is also a plus.

If I had to narrow it down, I'd go with Houndoom or Chandelure. Their designs are sleek and I love their typing. For the poll I voted Houndoom.
