    I would say Torchic, because it's STRONG when it evolves. But Mudkip comes in second.

    I would say Charmander since I started out with him at first on my first ever game (Red in 97' or 98')
     
    Cyndaquil or Charmander are AWESOME when they evolve and they look cool :3.

    Cyndiquil, Typhlosion=The best damn Pokémon ever.
     
    Recently I've come to realize that I really like Bulbasaur and all of its evolutions. So my favorite is of now Bulbasaur.

    Here are my favourite sarters of every reigon:

    Kanto - Charmander
    Johto - Cyndaquil
    Heonn - Torchick
    Sinnoh - Piplup

    But my favourite would probably be cyndiquil and all fo the rest of the johto starters they are just superb! And they look good! ;)
