Can't get Scyther in LG, but Pinsir can do well. Venomoth is not half bad for a Bug type either, due to it being able to learn Silver Wind (although it isn't that great of a move). I think you'd benefit well from a Snorlax, or even a Tauros. Both decently versatile in attacking, and Tauros is pretty durn fast, despite it being a slow-rate-leveling-up Pokemon.

I really like the name Charley, and I imagined each member being part of a war, which is where the team name came from. Rocco is the general, Avarde is an aviator, Boss is the annoying drill sergeant, Lucina is the mysterious doomsayer that nobody listened to, and Radcliffe and Khan are tanks. I had a really obese rat named Radcliffe; that's where Hariyama's name comes from.

I might replace Swellow with Altaria.
