Which Starter Will You Choose?

I'm not sure about my whole team, but it's precedence that I take the grass starter and that I use a team composed only of Pokemon local to the generation. So Chikorita and only Johto Pokemon.
 
Well, it all depends really.

When the English versions comes out, it will probably be something like:
Jolteon
Crobat
Houndoom
Swampert
Banette
Flygon

On my ROM, currently I have:
Typhlosion
Ampharos
Crobat
Quagsire
Onix
Victreebel

And odds are once I finish the games completely I'll probably go for more of a "dream team" which consists of:
Flygon
Mismagius
Zubat (no, I won't evolve it)
Seviper
Golduck/Gliscor (still haven't decided which I prefer.)
Camerupt

Which I don't see getting through the main game with just those pokemon being very easy at all, more frustrating than anything because they share common weaknesses.
 
I think i'm going to go against what I have done for every game I have played for the Pokemon series. I have chose the Grass starter every time. Now I believe i'm going to choose the Fire Starter (Cyndaquil). But I kinda want to choose Totodile because of its final evo. Feraligatr. Typhlosion or Ferilagatr! I CAN'T CHOOSE! Hahahh

After beating Red,This will be my team:
Meganium
Blaziken
Blastoise
Umbreon
Ampharos
Pidgeot
 
Decided to change my team that I'm going to use to beat Red. Now I'm currently training:
-Driflimb
-Blaziken
-Tangrowth
-Starmie
-Snorlax
-Electrode
 
Game-wide, this will be my team:

Typhlosion
Tyranitar
Gengar
Kingdra
Jolteon
Skarmory

Like people a few posts above me, I have a habit of picking the fire starter (excluding my choice of Torterra since Magmortar is just epic). I also decided to use all three kanto starters in my FR and slightly copy Red, minus the fact that I have a second kanto team. =P

I also use only pokemon available in that particular region's dex.

I guess I'd have a hard time forming a team from the national dex. XD

Arcanine lvl 60
Mew lvl 60 from Wifi event.
 
I'm waiting to import HeartGold when it comes out in the US, but I've been having a think and I reckon my team will be something like this --

Typhlosion
Ampharos
Espeon
Mantine
Donphan

-- and an HM slave for the last slot.

I think I'll choose Cyndaquil, not necessarily because he's my favourite out of them because I like Totodile too, but because the last two pokemon games I played were Platinum and Diamond, where I had the grass starter in Platinum and the water starter in Diamond. So it only makes sense that I choose the fire starter for HG :)
 
its between chickorita and totidile. Chickorita was the one i chose for my gold version, and i dont want to get cyndaquil cause its over used, and i want to get totidile so i can trade over a treeko so i can have it on my team w/totidile

Of course, I might well change my mind during the game.
 
i don't know
the only thing i do know is that Heracross will be in my team ^^
 
Changed my team once again I'm not gonna list it though (see previous post) I switched Electrode in for an Ambipom.
