Thats the way I play, makes the game a lot more fun.
 
Meganium(of coruse it rulzz)
Arcanine(i personally love it)
Lapras(nice water pokemon)
Skarmory(dunno i need Fly and i already used Dragonite in heart gold jap version)
Hypno(In ALL pokemon games(except colosseum and xd) I have psychic pokemon in my team-and it's always Alakazam,so now a zen headbutting hypno is good )
Scizor(of course the best bug type pokemon)
And the strongest attacks for all those are:
Meganium-Frenzy plant
Lapras-Hydro Pump
Arcanine-Flaze Blitz
Skarmory-Fly(probably)
Hypno-Zen Headbutt
Scizor-Bullet Punch(or Metal Claw)
They'll have those moves for sure! :))
It's really sad ppl likes only Typhlosion and Feraligatr a little bit...
No body likes meganium-i can tell you it's not the worst pokemon and it's even really good pokemon expecially in game teams.I personally like Feraligatr most but now Meganium and Feraligatr are the same both strong and cool...You should try using Meganium.Aromatherapy really helps you!
 
My opinion changes every time I see this thread. xD

Currently I would like to have these pokemon for the plot-line run-through:
- Meganium
- Pidgeot
- Raichu
- Quagsire/Azumarill
- Scyther/Sneasel
- Ninetales/Houndoom
 
Since I'm going to use imports and such, my team by the E4 will be

Blaziken
Blastoise
Scyther
Haunter
Gardevoir
Sandslash
 
Totodile
Growlithe (trading over)
bulbasaur (trading over)
Teddiursa (trading over)
Surfing pikachu (trading over)
Charmander (going to be a strict dragon-type attacker) (trading over)
 
Since my HG team is what I am taking to world championships 2010, I feel the need to keep it a secret (;

Everyone here has great teams, a lot more creative than some of the ones I've seen before!
 
So faar i got typhlosion, ampharos and mismagius. I'm on the way of getting tyranitar and crobat. I thought about wat my last pokemon should b... and im thinking flygon. They're all so cooool!!! X) I'll probs get other members after i beat red

Been planning my team since the games were first announced, and I only settled on it last week. I'm content. This is the most I've ever thought about a team, I think that the remakes of the best games on earth is a good enough reason to devote my all to. I can't wait for tomorrow!

I'm deciding who to start with still. My three favorite starters....this choice is always so hard! My friend is choosing Totodile so I'm choosing Chikorita.

Meganium or Typhlosion, can't choose.
Umbreon
Houndoom
Lapras or Dewgong
Noctowl, unless I figure a better flying-type...suggestions anyone?

I think it's a relatively good team, but what do I know?
I just know Umbreon and Houndoom are my all-time favorites. And my Umbreon on Diamond is a little beast, so yeah, definitely want.
 
I don't want to plan my team out completely, because it might change after I've played for a while, but a few of the ones I'm thinking of are:

Meganium (most likely, but still not totally sure)
Charizard (Char line has been my 'signature' poke since I was nine :P )
Scyther

Well on one copy, I'll have an Eevee team (I've never had eevee or its evos on my main team, so I'm setting myself the challenge of having a team full of them).
Flareon (Pyro)
Vaporeon (Cloud)
Jolteon (Sparx- named after my dog Sparky)
Espeon (Lavender)
Umbreon (Star)
Leafeon (Leaf if male, Gaia if female)

Will have to trade eggs, stones and Leafeon over from diamond. Better get to work trading for a female eevee and breeding!

For my other copy... I'm going to figure it out as I go... So many pokemon to choose from. Hehe I'll just re-live my first pokemon gaming experience (which was in Silver) and use random pokemon I see until I get a good team

I am heading to the Lake of Rage now. Red Gyarados will be added to my team when I catch him.
