As you can guess, I prefer not to evolve my Pokemon. Despite the ridiculous amount of time wasted pressing 'B' during evolutions, I find the game more interesting with Prevo's.
 
I change my team pretty often so I can't really say.

At the moment though I am focusing on Double Battles and I use:

Rhyperior - Lightningrod
Slowking - Own Tempo
Ursaring - Guts
Umbreon - Synchronize

Rhyperior and Slowking are up front and Ursaring is the backup with Umbreon the support/healer. Rhyperior absorbs all of the electric attacks that would normally OHKO Slowking, and Rhyperior's Fire Punch and ThunderPunch takes care of the Grass and Water. Slowking has Trick Room which helps to ensure that my very slow team gets to go first.

Meganium, Crobat, Politoed, Machamp, Espeon, and Marowak. I got all of them at the earliest opportunity, and they're all in the late 50s, except for Meganium, who is Level 60. I've got fourteen badges so far. Ah, HeartGold is awesome.
 
Lol. This team took ages to build up...I've raised Donphan post-E4, because I can manipulate the clock to use the SS Aqua for training....he's gone up 20 levels today....

I would just like to critique your team. It is VERY unbalanced. You need more Pokemon with more elements in there...
 
I has me level 12 Cyndaquil with me, and trying to get my Pidgey from 5-12 via Poke walker.
