Care to tell us a little more about yourself? It's not mandatory, but it helps if you do so we could help you out! :] Promise me, we don't bite here at PC! As for X and Y, a lot of users here are anticipating their release, and if you haven't already, please go check out the Pokémon X and Y section of the forum if you want to read up on news or discussions by other members about the new upcoming sixth generation. :)
Anyways, as a reminder, please be sure to look over the rules here as we don't want to see you getting in any trouble or getting any infractions handed out to you, as the last thing we would want from a new user is misbehavior :3c
If you have any questions, please feel free in asking anyone around on staff (users with the bolded usernames), and they'd be glad to help you anytime!

I'm getting X! My boyfriend is getting Y. They look so good and your avatar is awesome. :D I can't wait to see the movie with that new Mewtwo; the design has been growing on me. You definitely will enjoy our X & Y board, which the wonderful Zach has already suggested. You can speculate on potential future news or discuss the current information we have available. Might want to avoid it though if you don't want spoilers, but other than that it is a great board to delve into here right now. Everyone on PC is so very excited about these games. :)
Anyways, it's great to have more new members here! We know you're interested in the sixth generation but what else do you like about Pokemon? We have plenty of boards here for you to participate in including a lot of places to talk about the Pokemon games. You can check out the Fifth Generation Gaming board if you like Black & White, Pokemon General if you want to talk about the Pokemon world as a whole, and so on! Maybe you'd even be interested in checking out our Pokemon Clubs and Fan Clubs & Groups board? Those places are great if you want to get involved in some clubs plus find people with similar interests. We'll definitely run into each other too, this is a big community but our members are pretty much everywhere so you'll often see familiar faces. And hey, we can be friends if you're interested, too! That always makes things much more fun and worthwhile to stick around. I was really shy when I first joined but after I met people, things only went uphill. Leave me a message anytime and we can get chatting, hehe.

Glad to see more people joining for the madness that is Pokemon X & Y! Loads of new stuff was revealed last week and the discussions are still going and we're hoping for more awesome stuff to come. Zach already showed you to that section but that won't stop me from welcoming you too. The games' release is getting closer and any plans on which starter you're choosing? I'm probably going with Froakie because I love Water-types best. Anyways, if you have questions regarding the X & Y board, Jake♫ and Aerilyn are the best people to go to.
PC is always happy to welcome new members, and there's loads of sections you can check out. Cirno directed you to a few of them so I'm sure there's something you like. I'll probably see you along the way and maybe we might become new friends as well because having friends can really help you settle in to the community easier. I remember when I was new and I had trouble making friends.
