Heh, well when I saw him turn his hat around in the battle with Tobias in the Sinnoh league I thought for a slight moment he'd win, but yea, no...

It just usually symbolise something though, weather it's him just about to take things a little more seriously and try harder in a battle, or just maybe like in the original series when catching a Pokémon.

I love how they've brought it back though, although even though if it is only occasionally.

When I see him turn his hat around I actually see him taking the situation seriously. It's a seems symbolic of his getting his game face on rather be it a battle or a capture.

FACEBOOKPAGETITLElol That was pretty much the highlight of pokemon episodes as a kid. -Turn hat around- Now catch that caterpie!

It appears that you used a choice word in the title of the thread and the first post... That's no good... Don't worry, I took the liberty of censoring the word for you.

It's true, when Ash turns his hat around you better brace yourselves, because macaroni and cheese is about to get real. My favorite times he does this is in the 9th movie and the battle against the random guy with legendary Pokemon.

I like how Ash turns his hat around. As a couple other said, it's a symbol of when Ash will get his game on.

It's a bit corny for me but I kind of miss it. I wish they bought that back in Generation Five
