With a jolt, I woke up, covered in sweat... I felt a odd throbbing in my arm, and noticed a gold bracelet on it, that wasn't there when I had fallen asleep.. I closed my eyes, wanting to go back to sleep, but the bracelet conserned me. What was it, and why was it now on my wrist? I wondered if the dragon had a library, and if he did, if he would allow me to look through it...

"It's fine," Celeste said quietly. "I haven't seen my parents in years, though I believe they are still alive. They wouldn't be able to see me, however. The higher archy doesn't allow me to communicate with past family and friends," she said.

Hope sighed, wishing Celeste hadn't brought up the past. It hurt for her as well. She had died with the angel.

I felt guilty bringing up teh past and I wanted to make it up, But I couldn't find anythign to say. Once Exodus foudn a spot, I waved my hands and a tent and gear box appeared on teh ground in front of me. I then moved to the center and did the ame, this time genertaing a small fire. I sat down and wamed my hands by teh fire.

Skye nodded thankfully at Celeste, but turned her attention away when the Mage returned. Celeste seemed busy enough talking to him, and she didn't wish to interrrupt.

Tsubasa took to the sky with the elven angel on his back. They flew low over the treetops, his great white wings spread magestically. Skye felt better up in the air, freer, able to think.

She knew what lay at home...the guardians...the parents who had cared for her her whole life. And she knew the road ahead would be troublesome, but truth be told, she had never felt whole just living at the bath house. She needed to find the rest of herself along this road, and perhaps her journies would lead her back home.

She thought of a song then, and sang gently to Tsubasa, a song her mother back home had sung to her when she was feeling down. Skye figured they could both use cheering.

My heart is ready to beat
I can feel the wind underneath my feet
I'm gonna jump over the moon
hands in the air, waving up like a balloon

I'm free as a bird
lost in the stars and waving down to earth
don't know where I'm gonna land
but you gotta wobble up before you stand

*
I'm soaring
I'm alone and on my own
I'm soaring and I know my heart will lead me home

Just look in my eyes
can't you see I'm not the same today
I can see farther now, step off the edge
I'm making my own way
don't know where I'm gonna land
but you gotta wobble up before you stand.

And I know that I gonna touch the skies

I'm soaring
I'm alone and on my own
I'm soaring and I know my heart will lead me home.

Feeling a little better, Skye flew on, watching the other beneath her, and enjoying the freedom of being up in the air.

Celeste heard singing somewhere above her, but she remained grounded.

Hope layed down near the fire Donnavon had created. Celeste leaned against her Pokefreind's body, feeling the warmth of both magic fire and Pokemon flame wash over her.

The angel was tired, but stayed awake a while longer. She shifted so she faced Donnavon. "What made you begin to practice magic?" she asked, curious of this strange companion she'd found.

I looked around it was only me, Exodus and Crystal. I sta beside Crystal, and put my arm around her shoulders, and pulled her closer to me. "I'm sorry I had to bring on this rotten journey, you should have never been dragged in with me." I whispered to her, now for the first time, feeling something between her and I. It was strange, even foreign, but soon shook it off.

Meanwhile Exodus was busy keeping the fire up and hunting down a good meal to eat. Starting to feel lousy about what happened back in the clearing.

Feeling quite a bit better, Skye asked Tsubasa to land. They touched down near Exodus and the others, and made their way to the fire to warm their bodies. Skye remained silent, and Tsubasa sat beside her protectively, his eyes keen on any danger.

Skye watched the flames of the fire crackle and engulf the wood, lost in her thoughts. It had to get better than this, as Celeste had said. She curled up beside Tsubasa's warm body and closed her eyes. He put a white wing around her, giving her a great deal of comfort and warmth. She fell asleep there, soundly, with no dreams to plague her.

I was surprised by Celest's question. not by teh question itself but that I wasn't sure what the answer was. "I'm...not sure" I said slowly. " In myworld, Magic is commonplace. sometimes mages would come together and compete like the POkemon battles of this world. I think I studied magic because I wanted to make my family proud. Bring honor to the family name. I looked up to my brother the most. Not only was he a good mage, but he was also very strong and very smart. Then one day... Samuel challenged him to a battle. he used underhanded and tricky tactics no honorable family would use and killed my brother. He then took his ring." I raised myhand to show the ring I had reclaimed form Sameul earlier. " From then on it wasn't jsut a journey for honor and self- improvement. It was revenge. I wanted to make Samuel pay for his evil deeds. I haven't realized till now how empty those years were, so filled with hatred. Now tha Samuel is gone, I wonder what is left for me. I wonder what my brotehr would do." i turned toward Celest. " You guide spirits to heaven. Maybe you've spoken wtih my brother." I said, somewhat hopefully.

"Ok. Dinners ready."Exodus said coming back with a small troll he found in the forest. "They cook quickly so get ready to eat soon." He said not even noticing Skye was there.

"Ok!" I said smiling as I took my arm off of Crystal. "I'm starved! Hello Skye! Glad you could make it for dinner!" I said laughing happily.

"Er..." Exodus said feeling alittle awkward with Skye there now. "I see you have a bit of your old man still left in you." He said chuckling. "With a hint of your mother as well! Er...well...alot of your mother shows." He said trying to hide a smile on his face.

Nat smiled gently. "Your brother seems like an honorable man, though it is hard for me to tell you if I have spoken with him without his name."

She was being truthful. It was very possible that she had spoken with Donnavon's brother, but she had guided countless spirits to heaven. She began to lose count of them a year ago. Their faces all began to meld together....

She shook her head to clear her mind and awaited for Donnavon to reveal the name.

OOC: Skye fell asleep...but no matter, I can fix it! ^_^

IC: Skye opened her eyes, jolted awake when Exodus arrived. She watched him as he dragged the troll over, grimacing at the thought of eating it. Looking up at Tsubasa, her smile somewhat returned.

"O'm...a vegetarian..." she said softly, and pulled some carrots and precooked rice out of her travel bag.

He then made a comment about how she resembled a bit of himself, and a lot of her mother. She narrowed her eyebrows.

"How would you koow if I'm anything like you?" she demanded bitterly, bitting into the rice ball. "You don't even know me..."

She snuggled deeper into Tsubasa's wing, as if trying to hide from Exodus. Her expression was cold and angry as she turned her face away from Exodus, so he wouldn't see her tears.

As soon as Eclipse woke up, I could tell by the look on her face that something was troubling her. I motioned for her to take a drink, and asked "What's the matter? You look as though you've seen a ghost."

Celeste put a comforting hand on Donnavon's shoulder. "I have indeed spoken with your brother. He was the third spirit I guided to heaven," she said sadly.

"He spoke of many things. He said he hoped you would be happy, even though he had passed on. He also told me of the fued, he seemed to know it would begin..."

She stopped, no longer remembering anything he had said.

Celeste barely noticed Exodus calling everyone to eat. SHe was disturbed at what he had brought them. She had been a vegitarian in her life, and this continued through the few times she ate as an angel.

The young angel dipped a hand into the bag she carried with her and produced some berries. She munched on them, savoring the taste. Hope whinnied, asking for one as well. Celeste handed over a Pecha berry, which dissapeared with the flash of a pink toung.

I wasn't one to eat troll. Instead I made a hand motion and my gear box flew over to me. I opened it up and pulled out some bread and berries. They reminded me of home, since my mother had made the bread.

ooc; I have to log off now. I'll see you all tomorrow.

"I'm not so sure I havn't" I said, waiting for my mind to snap out of it's confused state. when it did so, I said "My mother's half of the family is pure demon the whole way, and I have reason to think that they were mind slaves in that volcano, and that sudden attack I used destroyed everything alive short of you and the fire-witch"

I sat, trying to take all this in. I knew how vampires would react to loss of kin, but I had next to no experience with demons, so I wasn't sure what to say...

OOC: Wow, I made what would be a completely OOC post into in-character!

"That fire witch and his kin are an enemy of my family, they seem to enjoy targeting my family to do thier work. But I guess it isn't too bad, as me and my family used to say, better dead then a slave." I said, still trying to figure out what that sudden attack had been...

"It's okay, I was the one who decided to join, wasn't I?" Crystal asked, laughing softly. "It's not that rotten anyway." She whispered.

After hearing Exodus' call, she quickly followed Johann, but then stopped. She just heard what it was he just cooked, troll. She grimaced at just the sight of it.

"I-I'll just eat what my mom brought me." She said as she pulled out an apple.
