I'm not sure if this is where this thread goes but it was the best place I could find for it. (However I'm no good when it comes to the obvious). Anyways ,like the title says, does anyone know where I can buy Emerald? I don't really trust Ebay and I've looked in like 3 malls that have gamestop (and one of them had two gamestops) and I still can't find Emerald.
Are there any places that could still sell it new or will I have to buy used and hope that the previous owner did not hack?

Have you checked Amazon for unopened Emerald packages? And I'm sure even eBay has some, even though you don't seem to trust it. I got my Yellow and Crystal from eBay and they work perfectly fine. If you don't want to use the internet, then I'm afraid your only option is finding a used one from Gamestop, and there's always Best Buy and Walmart. Play-asia might have some in stock, but I don't know if they're English or not.

You could always try and buy one from a friend as well, if they don't want it.

If Gamestop doesn't have any used, try a smaller, less known game store. There's a Games Plus in my neighborhood that sells used games all the way back to the NES era. :P

But the best advice when dealing with Gamestop is to check every location you know of on a weekly basis. Each location obviously trades with different people so their stock of used games will change all the time.

Hmmmm...I guess I could search for a gamestore that's not well known. Does Walmart and Best Buy still sell GBA games? Oh and will I need to use a Credit Card or can I use checks for Amazon? Thanks to everyone who's responded!

Walmart, I'm afraid, may not have it. I don't ever see GBA games at the one around my house, but you could always check yours if you're feelin' lucky. And for Amazon, I think it'd be more efficient to use a credit card. I actually think they don't take checks, considering that's a difficult thing to do over the internet.

You can try Walmart (like what SSS said) as well as Target, I've always seen Emeralds as well as R/S in there, but not any GBC games

I'm pretty sure amazon takes Paypal too, which is, of course tied to your checking account. :P

Gawd, I'm having the same problem. No-one sells GBA games anymore where I live.

    Good luck!

Goodness, I was just in my gamestop a couple of days ago and they had emerald!! I didn't get it of course, I already have 2 copies of it, and if you get it from ebay, listen to ebay's own advice, do not buy from oversea sellers, if it is a black game case it is a fake game.

Even though you dont like it, it will most likely eBay, if your scared of being ripped off, try amazon. They sell all games old and new

Well I got mine for aobut $15 dollars at cash converters or cash traders. Because they are now not selling in game stores anymore... you can usually find them in second hand shops.

Well, the kid got his answer, guys. I don't think everything needs to be repeated, so for the sake of spam, let's close this, shall we?
