Where do I post the Pokemon that I created?

    As the name says, where do I post them? I created my own Pokemon, moves, abilities, types etc and I wanted to share with other PC users and maybe let them comment on how good/bad it is.

    I initially thought I should create a thread somewhere in the Creative Discussions but looking through all the sub-forums, I realized that my thread doesn't fit into any of the category. I thought maybe Pokemon General is the place but I have doubts to posting in a wrong forum. I doubt there's even a place for me to post such stuff here. So please tell me where's the appropriate forum or section to post my thread, and also tell me if there isn't one at all. At least I don't feel so....like a fish out of water...

    Thanks in advanced! I appreciate all your help in answering my question. Yeah, I know it's weird and quirky for someone like me to create my own Pokemon and stuff. >.<
     
    Try Pokemon General if you want your pokemon to be viewed generally etc. But if you're looking for more of a serious judgment on them for any purpose of game use whether it competitively or just for the sake of using them in the game; your best bet is In-Game Team Help or Pokemon Strategies and Movesets. :3

    Edit: It's isn't wierd on creating your own pokemon. It's actually a hobb here and don't be worrie dabout what it is. Enjoy it! :3 Good luck.

    Ehh... I really don't think there is a place fit for this kind of stuff, based on the rules of the individual forums. Well... there's a Fake Cards sub-forum. But that's not the place you want, and it's probably dead.

    Your best bet would be to start a hack and showcase your ideas in the emulation forum... though it definitely isn't efficient.

    Neither, but I described how they look like. I drew some of them. But other than making new Pokemon, I made new moves, abilities, types even a whole new region, with the aid of my school friends who are great fans of Pokemon. Thanks for your suggestion. I think I'll post some of the drawings there and put the rest somewhere else.

    I think I'll try in the Pokemon General, then if I'm in the wrong place, I'll let the mods move it to where they see fit. I don't think my ideas will be used by Nintendo in their games, they don't even know me, much less visit PC, unless they do. Do they ever visit PC?

    I think they meant that if you were going to use your designs in a game you work on/create through ROM Hacking or Game Development. Nintendo would not and does not use fan designs and stuff, as far as I know.

    Oh ok. Thanks for sharing that with me. So I think I'll put in it the Pokemon General once I'm done? Or maybe i the Art Gallery, since I've friends who are helping me design and draw the Pokemon. :)
     
    You could always create an album with all the fakemon in your profile and link to it from your signature?

    In pixel art we have a thread called "Project: Communitydex."
    You can post your design/concept and the descriptions and everything there, we pixel artists will be happy to sprite what Fakemon you have in mind. This is just another place where you can share your ideas. ;P
