i'm just warning you, chill.
It might be an artistic expression but i wouldnt put an entire peninsula and the sea on that side as an artistic expression o.Othe piece of land loped off on the right is just artistic expression.
hoen was turn 90 degrees
desserts in pokemon are always randomly placed in pokemon regions
show me one region that is an EXACT match of any real place.
even shanghai isn't an exact match to isshu.
NYC all the way.
ummm..... route 228 in sinnoh=desert. It might be an artistic expression but i wouldnt put an entire peninsula and the sea on that side as an artistic expression o.O
And there is only one desert in pokemon games, in pokemon r/s/e but it wasnt that much of a desert though :D hehe.
And notice that manhattan is an island, and that the fist penninsuila in isshu(that represents manhatan in nyc theory) isnt, it is most likely just separated by 2 rivers.
ummm..... route 228 in sinnoh=desert.
like i said the geography could be an artistic expression.
but what about everything else like victini, ect.

The islands seem bigger than the isshu one's but they have changed the geography of some regions quite a bit :)this is what i mean by the islands at the bottom
in NYC there are three islands in similar locations in isshu
also the fact that you get victini with the liberty ticket. liberty isand, statue of liberty.

thats the high link map
not the in game map.
plus the two island are on the bottom left there anyway.
ant the the lowest one on the left is liberty island so yeah.
WOOHOO 300th post!
it was allready confirmed that isshu is far awy from the other regions which are located in japan, so it's not in japan.i dont know, i guess it looks a little bit like new york. but i think it would be more likely for it to be in japan, because it is made in japan?
Well there is more land to the east of New York than in the Eastern peninsula in Isshu...It is the picture of isshu viewed in full(not read ur post again and say what u said has any sense), that picture u posted was just a part of it, what does it matter if it is high link or whatever it is the same geographically. And here is a comparison(I guess u are probably not gonna like it):

Which one do you think is more probable, if u dont like it, try taking ur own picture, ittl be the same, i assure you.
Well the culture of the region isn't always based on that of the Region, for example Sinnoh had french culture in it, the clothes of the players is one, and some other stuff.I don't understand why some of the fans are insisting it isn't NYC because the geography isn't exactly the same down to a tee. I'm aware the other regions looked similar to their real-world counterparts, but tradition can easily change just how it was easily made. They may have decided to add more of their own flare this time to give Pokemon a little uniqueness.
Maybe it's even a cross between Shanghai's geography and NYC's history and people. The different facts presented to us have otherwise said NYC up to this point to me.
All of it seems far too coincidental don't you think? Can someone tell me, besides geography, how Shanghai and Isshu are alike? I'm proper confused. ]:
- Liberty Island with a tower holding the Victory Pokemon : a reference to World War II.
- Football players : an American sport, since it's obviously not a Soccer uniform.
- Hiun City being the biggest city on the map right next to the ocean, holding the port to said Liberty Island : Just like NYC.
- Isshu is in fact far from the other regions. China and Japan are next-door neighbors.
ah, i must have not heard that.it was allready confirmed that isshu is far awy from the other regions which are located in japan, so it's not in japan.
i still think it's nyc because it has more evidence going for then shanhai does.

ah, i must have not heard that.
maybe its just not based off of anything this time.
edit: sorry, how could it be shanghai? didn't china ban pokemon games or was it only the anime?
Yes but it is too different for them to put them the same.
The red chain- dont talk about something I didnt say, I said that nyc doesnt look like isshu at all to me.
And as for shanghai stuff that relates it to isshu besides geo, are:
-religion-yin-yang
-size, again tokyo and nyc are bout the same size, and that would mean that isshu is the size of saffron city. However they might not stick to the proper sizes in game, but untill now regions have always been about the same size.

Uh wrong Tokyo is the biggest City in the world followed by Mexico city, New york is big but not the biggest...Yes but it is too different for them to put them the same.

All of this I have said before, and yet u guys always skip these or say somthing stupid like there is no yin-yang or idk. I have always taken all of your ideas and think about them, and finally wrote what i dont like about them.
huh o.o no, unless it is somehing new
idk, ive read somewhere that china banned imported tv shows, like the simpsons, spongebob and pokemon. it was quite a long time ago, so it may not still be the law there.huh o.o no, unless it is somehing new
