Firefox. Although Opera is a close second.

Everything about Firefox is awesome. Though once in a while it gets a memory leak and ends up eating my CPU o_O But it usually goes away.

Opera is close simply because of the similarities and the Speed Dial. God I love that Speed Dial.

Everyone is using Firefox nowadays and it's definitly the best...

Add-ons are possible on IE, but they are hard to make, probably because it's closed-source. On the other hand, I think Firefox is open-source, right??

Microsoft is aware of this shift and is trying it's best to fix IE.
To encourage people to use it, they disabled the part where it checks the "authentication" of your windows OS :P

Also, with the new version of IE, every time I go on some websites, it tells me it has encountered a problem and needs to close. Stupid thing.

I have the same problem with IE 7 as well... i hate it, i wish i could uninstall it somehow..

I have to say Firefox is the best web browser because it can be customized easily and is more secure then Internet Explorer.

It can be uninstalled but requires a registry hack I think. but if you did uninstall it no more msn :<

"Internet Explorer only is for Download Firefox" This is my Friend answer and I think this is true XDç

@QueenZ= That's not true I have Firefox and I use MSN. Both programs are completly differents. If you want proofs you can add me to MSN if you want.. XD

you mean if i uninstall IE, MSN won't work anymore?? :(

Yes it is true. For somereason you need IE to rune msn. IE7 to rune live messenger.

I use firefox to. But like I say you need IE to run messenger.

the only real reason you need IE is to do you microsoft updates. to be honest you can always use trillian to run msn/live messenger and firefox does everything else (except for me I use Safari instead of Firefox) but seriously, microsoft/windows update is the only reason you Need to use IE, it just simply won't work in other browsers.

Oh.. i didn't know that you need IE to get MS updates.. I use Vista, do i still need it, 'cuz i have Updates Install Manager..

You don't need IE to get Windows to get updates for Vista because of the Updates Install Manager. Users of Windows XP and older have to use IE to get updates.

wow, that's really great, now i just have to figure out how to uninstall that stupid IE 7 :)

I love FireFox. Comes with Linux. I love Linux. Though one day Windows maybe be open source and safe to use. Though I most admit Linux isn't purely safe as well but to keep with the thread I've been using FireFox before I switched the Linux and I've loved it.

Firefox, 'cuz you can mess with it. XD

Though it's horribly slow on my PowerBook... ahh, well.

Internet Explorer. Although FF is cool with a translator and all, IE Rawks my socks... man.

Guys, don't you think that each next version of Firefox makes it slower and slower? I mean. FF 1.5 was really ok, it was fast etc. but now FF 2 seems a lot slower now.. They are losing the point..

How long have you been useing ff 1.5

ff 2 has been out for ages. Beta 3 is currently out. Should check it out

I made the switch from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox last week, and so far Mozilla has been ok. Sometimes the odd website takes longer to load than before, but its easy to use, and the main reason I did it is so a website that hosts live basketball matches works, so I'm happy! =D

IE7 looks horrible. I'd never consider switching back to IE, though I had been switching between Opera and Firefox, but I think I'm gonna stick with Firefox. Looks better plus is more stable. Opera crashed a lot when I last used it so I ended up uninstalling it. Some of the widgets were cool though.
