Yes, but it doesn't make sense that Palkia, Lord of Space, is a friggin' water type.

Maybe the two should change.
 
Lugia is total set up fodder. Ho-Oh is a massive beast. Go Ho-Oh!
 
I personally prefer lugia after all my favorite type are physcics (favorite is espeon =P) and after all lugia is so much cooler looking and let me ask you does ho-oh have his own movie! didnt think so besides ho-oh is a fire flying lugia is a water physcic lugia could rape ho-oh with a good ole fashioned hydro pump

Lugia,I'm more into the aquatic graceful types than the fierce yet elegant fire types.

yeah, but if they switched types, it would be unfair.
It'd just be another groudon/kyogre combo where the latter would be better because of the type advantage.
but maybe its water type because space seems distorted in water.

wrong, lugia and Ho-oh have the same spD.
lugia has lower spA than Ho-oh, so ho-oh would win with a thunderbolt since none are STAB.The rest is self explanatory.
And since when was lugia water psychic?
you'd be much better off with ancientpower anyways, since its more accurate, and has a 4x strength.
the best way to take on the other would be physically, since they are worse(but still great) at physical stats.
And what does having its own movie have to do with battle?

Lugia just seems so overrated now.
A lot of people think its great just because it has a movie based on it.
Ho-oh has more potential than lugia, thats why it resembles gold and lugia resembles silver.
not only that, but rainbow birds are awesome.
Lugias wings look like hands.
birds do not have hands.
 
I personly prefer Ho-oh because he is Fire/fling type so he does not get affected by earthquake which most ground type pokemon have!
 
I think they should make a movie with Ho-oh in it...they never did! But otherwise, my favorite is LUGIA!!
 
Lugia looks cooler, has more original desing and isn't such an eyesore. I think Ho-oh has too many colours on it :\ And I've always preferred water types.
Ho-oh's colours are beautiful, though, but they're just too restless for my eyes. So, Lugia it is, even though Ho-oh would deserve more votes. After all, lugia has the priviledge of starring in a movie...
 
I really love Ho-Oh. It's my second-favorite Pokemon, and I think it's really awesome. I'm especially fond of its signature move, Sacred Fire.
