    I was thinking of Zubat/Golbat and Tentacool/Tentacruel.
Is there anything other pokemon found in all versions?

of course, the most comman pokemon of all that have came out since the first games, and the ones that I've grew quit tired of. here are list of some of them, (I may have missed out on some of them):

    *pikachu/raichu.
    *zubat/golbat.
    *psyduck/golduck.
    *abra/kadabra/alakasam.
    *machop/machoke/machamp.
    *tentacool/tentacruel.
    *geodude/graveler/golem.
    *koffing/weezing.
    *horsea/seadra(/kingdra but not in r/b/y).
    *goldeen/seaking.
    *magikarp/gyarados.

    i think
    aticuno moltres and zapdos
i don't know if they are in gold but i think so
they are in emerald(by trade but they are)
    oh and pikachu of course
The Kanto legendary birds were never in GSC. Pikachu was though.

I believe another to add tot he list is Magnemite/Magneton...come to think of it, I believe Voltorb (and prehaps Electrode) also have been in each main handheld game.

Then there's the Eevee line which nearly gets in all of them but for RS... aww.

    MAGIKARP!!! *shot*

Hasn't Ditto been in all the generations, also? I think I remember being able to catch one in all of the games I've played so far.

So far I have only noticed Magikarp, Pikachu, Tentacool, Zubat, Geodude Horsea and Machop...

And the 3 Legendary Birds were never in GSC. ;)

    P.S. :)

    Magikarp, Pikachu, Zubat, Geodude,

Usually the super annoying ones that pop up every single step you take are in everygame >:

Magikarp, Ditto, and Pikachu are the only ones I can think of.

Here's a complete list. I checked an online Pokedex.

    #025 Pikachu
    #039 Jigglypuff
    #040 Wigglytuff
    #041 Zubat
    #042 Golbat
    #063 Abra
    #064 Kadabra
    #065 Alakazam
    #066 Machop
    #067 Machoke
    #068 Machamp
    #072 Tentacool
    #073 Tentacruel
    #074 Geodude
    #075 Graveler
    #076 Golem
    #081 Magnemite
    #082 Magneton
    #084 Doduo
    #085 Dodrio
    #088 Grimer
    #089 Muk
    #100 Voltorb
    #101 Electrode
    #111 Rhyhorn
    #112 Rhydon
    #116 Horsea
    #117 Seadra
    #118 Goldeen
    #119 Seaking
    #129 Magikarp
    #130 Gyarados

    - Raichu isn't on the list because of Yellow version. You had to trade for one since Pikachu never evolved in that game.
    - Psyduck and Golduck aren't here because of Leaf Green only.
    - Same goes for Koffing and Weezing except it was in Yellow version that you couldn't catch it.
    - Stop bringing Ditto up already. It wasn't in Ruby and Sapphire like BHwolfgang mentioned. That was one of the main reason I hated Ruby and Sapphire since it was annoying to breed in that game before the other 3 Advance games came out.
    - Pokemon from the second generation and up aren't on the list for very obvious reasons.

I also wonder if Alakazam, Machamp, and Golem should still be on the list. You had to trade to evolve it which kind of defeats the purpose because you might as well trade for Pokemon not available in your version if you want to trade just to evolve your Graveler/Kadabra/Machoke.

    I hope I didn't miss anything. :/

You sure Psyduck doesn't count? I mean, FireRed and LeafGreen are effectively the same game... same Pokédex etc. I mean, Magnamite isn't in the D/P Sinnoh Pokédex, it's only in Platinum's unless you're containing the extended 'dex?
Anyway, that was why I was so disapointed with Ruby/Sapphire. Axing half the Pokémon was a poor trade-off for better graphics (and no Ditto/ almost NO Johto Pokémon drove me MAD! (I thought Pokémon was ruined for all time! :'())

You can evolve Pikachu in Yellow, he just won't follow you around anymore if I recall correctly.

And, yeah, is the question about which Pokémon have been in all regional Pokédexes, or which ones have been in every single version period?

Red and Blue are effectively the same game. Same goes with Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, and Diamond/Pearl and they all had their own exclusive Pokemon. Psyduck doesn't count because Leaf Green players have to trade for it from any of the other Advance games. Unfortunately, that means you can't catch one in every single version period.

Magnemite can be caught in D/P. Who cares if it isn't the Sinnoh Dex, you can still catch one when you do have it without the need of any GBA game or trading.

How besides trading the Pikachu away or using Stadium?

To answer the second question, I just went with the Pokemon that can be found in every single version period. The original post is really vague now that you bring it up.

Err...never mind. I was almost positive that I evolved it with a Thunderstone like normal on my old Yellow version once or twice, but I must have been mistaken because Bulbapedia says that it will refuse to evolve.

Wow. Must have taken a lot of effort to write that.

But, as said, I think Psyduck should count since theoratically, FireRed and LeafGreen are "combo" games, so they're basically the same thing.

There are always two separate handheld games that are almost completely alike, except you find certain Pokemon in one, and can't find them in the other.

Psyduck shouldn't be counted as a Pokemon that is found in all versions because you can't obtain it in Leafgreen without trading.
