4th Gen Which Starter did you choose?

I picked up good ol' Turtwig :)
 
Piplup(after some resetting, a Calm one too xD ).
Nothing much to say about the others as they can beat each other around, unlike other gens.
 
I chose Turtwig because I always choose a grass starter
 
I chose turtwig because i am a grass starter fanboy and have always been interested in turtles.
he would also make a good offensive and defensive pokemon because he can learn many good moves, such as earthquake,rock slide, and synthesis.
 
i picked turtwig, i think cause i always thot blastoise looked cool. i like bulky lookin pokes.
turns out after i started playing Wi-fi i wanted to train an Empoleon as a special wall
 
I chose Chimchar.
I thought of Turtwig but there is nothing good with it, so...
Piplup is rather... er... Well, I need help now.
I have a liking for Piplup and Chimchar, which should I choose!
 
I picked Chimchar and my sister picked Turtwig even though her favorite pokemon is piplup o.o
 
In chose turtwig because i liked it more than chimchar and piplup
 
i just got dioamond yesterday i chose chimchar bnecause fire is the best
 
well, i never start with a fire type, and turtwig didnt learn a new attack until level 10 or something like that, and piplup is the best out of the 3, so it is piplup for the win.
 
What the hell? Why is everyone choosing Emploeon? I've always loved fire + water (squirtle, todidile, mudkip, + charmander, Typhlosion, blaziken) but damn, the water type SUCKED in Pearl/Diamond. I would choose Turtwig or Chimchar ANY day.

Well, everyone has their preferences.. it would be a boring world, if everyone thought the same..

I, for one, was another who got Piplup as my Starter. With the exception of Mudkip, from Generation 3, I've liked all the Water type Starters, and chosen them as my Starter, in each respective Generation.

In Generation 3, I picked Torchic over Mudkip, because I didn't really like Mudkip all too much.. and that dislike was kind of deepened by all the statements such as, "Do you liek Mudkipz?" and stuff like that. Granted, the Water/Ground combination it got, when it evolved was nice, but not enough to drag me to it.
 
I chose Chimchar because the major success with the past fire starters. Luckily, I chose well and beet the game with it in my party! :D
I also chose it because of the fact that it is good with taking down steel or grass types. (Empoleon and Torterra)
 
Chimchar for me. I usually like the water starter, but I still chose the fiery monkey over Piplup even though I liked its design. Chimchar was the most effective fire type I've enjoyed using. :D
