    okay when i mean strongest i don't mean stat wise i mean litterally. like attributes they have have. here is an example/ my opinion

    blastiose would be the strongest
    why:
    well when you think about it he's a friggin' tank!!!
    and if opponets try to hit him he'll be all like
    "ha ha silly little weak pokemon you cannot hurt me when i am in my shell!"
    *goes into shell and then opponents attack ends
    *comes out of shell
    hah hah no damage whatsoever.
    and then when its his turn he'll be all like
    "IMA FIRIN' MY LAZOR!!! BAWWWGHH!" and pwns the enemy. and if water doesn't hurt them he'll tackle the livin' crap outta them, or give a very devistating bite!
    in the end, blastiose is the chuck norris of all starter pokemon. maybe even all pokemon in general!!
     
    foe mw it wud be Typlosion,Charizard or Empolean!!and Torterra is mor like a tank to me
     
    i question your logic cause lets take a look at this
    blastiose would do this to the starters you said:
    1. typhlosion
    he would just fire his water cannons on it
    2.charizard
    same thing as before. except if charizard flew up in the air the well blastiose would just aim his cannons up and then hydro pump charizard down to his doom!!
    3. empoleon would just get hit with earthquake and die.
    4. torttera would get the livin' crap beat outta him.
     
    yes but you forget what was stated in my first post
    he can just retreat to his shell
    and no i wouldn't break due to pressure
    he'd just slip out and pwn him with rapid spin and pwn him!!
     
    So basically, you're saying Blastoise is the Juggernaut.

    But with cannons.

    Frankly, that's clearly the winner.
     
    thats true but cant Frenzy Plant go true the holes?? u know the head and arms legs holes?so thats even worster 4 Blastoise

    You obviously need some persuasion.

    Frenzy Plant destroys all of the water types, except for Empoleon.

    Blast Burn can destroy all of the grass types.

    Hydro Cannon can destroy all of the fire types.

    That puts Empoleon in the lead, but he can be quickly destroyed from an Earthquake from Venusaur or Torterra.

    Torterra can be destroyed by an Ice type move from any of the Water types.

    Venasaur is in the lead, but he can be destroyed by a fire-type.

    I can go on all day, the matter of fact is they're all tied.

    And you were right about the roots going through the holes in the shell.

    They could also plug the cannons rendering them useless.
     
    Personally i like maganieum i cant remember how to spell it. It can pioson or put blastoise to sleep then use razor leaf to finish him off and thanks to synthesis he can regain health

    You don't understand.
    You can try all you want, but your logic breaks the games physics.
    If blastoise really is so strong, then tell me why blastoise stayed in UU and never got out of it. Even charizard is more useful, the very same one that can get obliterated with surf, shock wave, and stealth rock. Venusaur also has much more uses as a status causing pokemon.

    Now back to the thread, I wish the strongest was Torterra, but in all honesty, the best one has to be infernape. great speed, great attack and special. He would tank in the game if he didn't have below average health and defense.
     
    theres is no strongest final evolution starter, clearly they have a weakness, which most can KO them easily

    No, darling. Frenzy Plant/Leaf Storm is your nightmare. I don't ever recall a Blastoise in game retreating into its shell. In fact, my level 50 Ampharos beat Red's level 75 Blastoise with three Thunder Punches. Your logic is fail.
