Which Tony Hawk game do you think was best.
I think THPS2 was the best, it was in the middle. It still had good music like in THPS1 but also had create a skater and manual and create a park. The graphics may have sucked, but I think the graphics went well with how realistic it was. It made it seem more realistc, because the better the graphics, the more it pointed out the impossibility of what was going on. THPS2 is the only one that made me feel like I was actually flying around doing crazy tricks.

I personaly love the first one best :)

But Underground is still really good.

    I always liked the 3rd one best... I'm not sure why. I just thought it seemed more fun! ^^;

THPS4 rid the series of those accursed time limits so I'll have to say the fourth game was the best of any of them. Unfortunately my video store never got THPS Underground to rent so I don't know about that one =/

@_@ I've only played 3 and THUG, so I can't really make any sort of educated guess... but I really liked THUG. ^_^; It's sorta... RPG-ish mode was really fun, and it was easy to beat, so.. o_O I loved it, lol.

I liked the time limit. It added an urgency to getting the goals. It was a good feeling when you see the last few seconds on the screen and your barely going to make it to the last skate letter. And if you didn't get it, it made you want to try again. It was annoying sometimes, but I think the time limit was a good thing. But I also think it was for the best to drop the time limit for the newer games, they couldn't just keep doing the same things if they wanted to keep selling games.

I forgot all about spacewalk. I just learned to do that in real life and I owe it all to that game. it's one of the funnest things to do when there's no ramps around. I guess the games did get better and better because of the new moves. Was it THUG that they added wallplant and wallpush too?

Definitely THUG in my opinion. With the ability to get off your board and walk around, create and editing goals and drivng cars as new features, but still keeping the element of purely addictive gameplay is totally unbelievable.
The best thing about it is that they still have all the old classic features in there.
    I can't wait till THUG 2 though.

yeah, that's right. I don't see much point for wallpush though, it just slows you down.

If there was something over your head so that you couldn't jump to use wallplant, then you could use wallpush and spacewalk to continue a combo. And sometimes it just looks cooler to do wallpush instead of wallplant.

:D I liked thug because it was more realistic. Not just the graphics, but you can do anything that you can in real life. Climb, drive, run, and of course, Skate.

    Thug also had a story-line.

I just wish it was alot harder though. Because doing backflips on your board shouldn't be as easy as they make it. :D

Thug2 is gonna be sweet. In case u dont know, its about Team Hawk Vs Team Bam in the World Destruction Tour.

I wonder if you can choose Team Bam for a diff storyline....

THPS 2 by far. There was no cheap revert crazy combos. Points were a little harder to get. The graphics were awsome at the time. The levels were the best.

However THPS 1 was cool and some of the levels were awsome...it had my favorite level in in the entire series both Pro Skater and Underground.(The School 1)

Please don't revive really old threads, make new ones…
