Which Town do you consider to be your trainers Hometown?

    I have always done this, since day one on Blue Version

    The starter town is never very exciting to be honest, so I pick one other after I have all access, as my base.

    Kanto - I always fly back to Vermillion to save and stock up
    Johto - Blackthorn City
    Hoenn - Slateport
    Sinnoh - Celestic Town
    Unova - Nimbasa City

    Its not always for convenience But I claim that town as my own and Always save in a Pokecentre standing on the pokeballs centre facing me. Slighty anal I know

    In Heart Gold I use Saffron City a lot because of the rematches, but in most of the games I just wander around.
     
    Kanto: Celadon (1st-gen); Four Island (3rd-gen)
    Johto: Goldenrod or Blackthorne
    Hoenn: Lilycove
    Sinnoh: Eterna
    Unova: Lacunosa or Icirrus
    Orre: The Under (Colosseum); Realgam Tower (XD)
     
    Kanto: Viridian City
    Johto: Goldenrod City
    Hoenn: Fortree City
    Sinnoh: None, I hate them all lolol
    Unova: Nimbasa City
     
    I'm a city boy at heart, even though I live here in a small country town in southern Louisiana, but I'd have to say my favorite cities are:

    Kanto: Celadon City
    Johto: Goldenrod City
    Hoenn: Lilycove City
    Sinnoh: Hearthome City
    Unova: Nimbasa City

    I love everything about those cities.
     
    Kanto: Veridian City
    Johto: Ecruteak City
    Hoenn: Mawville City
    Sinnoh: Sunyshore/Hearthome City
    Unova: Driftveil City

    Can't remember the other two regions, it's been so long since I've played in them.
     
    Kanto: Pallet Town (there's no place like home, right?)
    Johto: Goldenrod City (the National Park is nearby for Bug Catching Contests)
    Hoenn: Slateport City (it's near the sea, and there's a beach right before it)
    Sinnoh: Veilstone City (Game Corner, anyone?)
    Unova: Nimbasa City (Battle Subway. That is all)
     
    Kanto - Saffron City feels like the heart of the Region.
    Johto - Mahogany Town seems very peaceful and nice.
    Hoenn - Mauville City seems like the centre of all the action!
    Sinnoh - Pastoria City Seems very relaxed.
    Unova - Castelia City is just flawless and I love it!
     
    Kanto=Cinnabar Island
    Johto=Goldenrod City

    Unova=Opelucid City(white version i like the architecture betterz)

    All regions: Fort Mill, South Carolina/Charlotte, North Carolina. The way I see it, the family travels on business and the home in *insert generic tiny nowhere starter town here* is just a rental place for my character and her family.

    As for what city I consider my home base during my tenure in each region:
    Kanto: Celadon City
    Johto: Goldenrod City
    Hoenn: Lilycove, I guess? The towns there are really weird:/
    Sinnoh: Jubilife
    Unova: Castelia

    Definite preference for the big cities obviously, and it's a shame your character can't start out in a large metropolis (or at the very least an upscale suburban planned neighborhood) in Pokemon games.
     
    In Platinum, the resort area. It had the villa, as well as my underground base.

    Johto: Blackthorn City
    Hoenn: Sootopolis City
    Sinnoh: Survival Area
    Unova: Nimbasa City
     
    Home town? I have no home town. I'M A WANDERER. No jk. I'd like to pretend all my characters randomly came to (insert region of game here) from The Under in Orre. Unless I already gave them a back story. I tend to do so when doing a challenge. So it varies between the type of challenge, gender of my player, and how their team is going to look. Like Ace Trainer Guitar from my Gold playthrough. He is on a mission to raise Pokemon of the borderline tier. He's from Olivine. A MAN OF THE SEA. Clearly.

    So...you'd say that Red came from Orre?
