[Spoilers] Which Unova Rival is your favourite so far?

Well, so far we've seen quite a lot of cool new character created in best wishes, most of which are now taking part in the Don Tournament. I thought it would be a great idea to discuss our favourites.

Obviously Trip can be seen as the main rival, but honestly it seems like we will be seeing a lot of the others now so this should be cool.

Right now I have to say I've taken a shine to Burgundy and Langley. They're both just very hilarious characters, which great personalities. I found it really funny in Burgundy's first appearance when all of Ash's Pokémon attacked her because she was rude about them. And that scene where she exaggerates her loss to Cilan, I just couldn't stop laughing. She also has a really cool catchphrase in the dub "Alors, it is evaluating time s'il vous plaît!" Langley is just so, so funny. I love how she refers to herself as a "Dragon Buster" and she has a beast Beartic. I loved how she helped herself to the group's breakfast as well. xD Loved how her Beartic managed to beat that guys Joltik in the Don tournament by falling on it. xD

I prefer Bianca. She has a very silly personality, which i like. Bianca it is.

Bianca for me because I love her personality. Burgundy also because her motive is a new one xD

Trip is a good rival.He is also a photographer which makes him really great.

I like Trip the best among the rivals because he reminds me of Gary to an extent; he (indirectly) teases Ash for being a "newb."

I voted for Trip, but I should've voted for Burgundy, because, she is too funny. When Ash's pokemon attacked her after she insulted them was funny.

Oh my god, Burgundy and Langley. Burgundy's psycho and Langley's just an ass, but they're awesome. Seriously, I love-hate them both so much. Trip's cool but kinda bland, Bianca's... Bianca, and Kenyan is funny. Don't know much about Luke really, since I'm terribly behind. ^^;

Trip seems too generic to me, there is nothing special about him too me. He seemed to show little personality and the rivalry between him and Ash right now is kind of stale. I don't see any intensity between them.

Bianca all she does is go around and chase "cute" pokemon and knocks Ash into water. There is a couple instances where you battles with Ash and Iris but I hardly consider her a legitmate rival at this point. She strikes me more as a reoccurring character then rival.

I like Luke, but as a rival I think that's a stretch. He seems more interested in developing movies then Pokemon Battling so I really don't see him developing a strong rivalry with anyone in the group.

Langley as of now is my favorite rival. Her and Iris absolutely disdain one another. She is almost an Anti-Iris since he proclaims herself to be a "Dragon Buster". I can feel the rivalry from both her and Iris which I can't say as much for Trip. I think it adds to the rivalry when they are both mocking each other during their matches in the Don George Tournament which I thought was funny to hear their banter.

Burgundy is an alright rival but not one that I could say is my favorite. Each time she tries to fight Cilan he just seems uninterested like Trip, I don't even think he sees it as a Rivalry but more like a whinny kid who can't get over what happened in the past. I do love her reactions she shows against Cilan. And her reactions to Ash pokemon in Episode 19 where classic.

Kenyan out of all the rivals brought up seems like the most bland too me. I don't really see much of a character out of him. All I see is a guy that likes to battle from time to time. When I first saw him in the training Episode with Oshawott I thought he was just going to be a COTD. I was surprised when I saw him at the tournament, but he really hasn't show me anything that wows me or makes me interested in his character. He does have some strong pokemon so a future battle with him and Ash should be a fun watch to say the least.
