Username: Nakuzami
Name: Veronica Cinquemani da Siracusa
Gender: Female
Age: 36
Birthplace: Syracuse, Sicily, Italy
Side: Assassin
Rank: Assassin Instructor
Appearance:
A woman of imposing stature, she cares little for beauty yet carries it naturally. She's taller than many, measuring almost six feet tall, and she weighs about one hundred and seventy pounds, thanks to her toned yet lithe figure. She has somewhat long platinum blonde hair that appears more white than anything. Her hair frames her sharp facial features, and it complements her deep blue eyes. She has some weight to her, but she's still a relatively slim woman.
She wears a dress composed of a purple shirt with detached sleeves, purple pants with a skirt over top, and purple leather boots. Her assassin outfit is remarkable similar, albeit black and with a hooded jacket to conceal her identity.

Weapons:
Veronica has a thing for knives, so it stands to reason that her primary weapons would be daggers and the like. She carries three main daggers: a
stiletto, a
rondel, and a
poignard; as well as a
rapier,
longbow, and the traditional hidden blade.
Personality:
Two words typically come to mind when one tries to describe Veronica: stoic, and cynical. As a whole she comes off as an unfriendly and isolated person, and that's just how she chooses to appear. Deep down, she probably is a warm and kindhearted person, but as far as the day to day is concerned, she's cold, decisive, and a wonderful assassin. Even so, she holds the ideals of the Brotherhood closely, especially the goal of freedom for all people. She fights for this goal, tearing down those that would control and oppress others.
She doesn't hold many people close, and she gives her trust and respect only to those that she deems worthy. Due to this, she has few friends, and fewer people that she will bow to, but those that do befriend her find in her a trusting and protective person. She has little want for wealth or riches, but she also sees no reason to reject them.
History:
Veronica was born into the peasantry of Syracuse, where she was raised in poverty and comparatively deplorable conditions. Her parents were kind and loving individuals, and her father had once been a decently wealthy man, until he was blindsided by his rivals and lost everything when she was just a toddler. Everything was taken from them, and they were forced to live in a small, ill-equipped space. They weren't living; they were simply surviving.
They adapted to this lifestyle, doing whatever they could to make ends meet. As for Veronica, she discovered her talents for thievery and cons, tricking unsuspecting individuals and robbing them blind. By the time that she was fourteen, she had mastered the arts of deception and pickpocketing. She could talk her way around the wealthy and rob them blind without even trying very hard. By sixteen she could leap between buildings and climb the tallest tower around. It wasn't long after that she was brought into the Brotherhood.
She used her talents to gain a standing of some repute within the Brotherhood, and it wasn't long before she was rising through the ranks. In her earlier years of her training, she practiced perfecting her talents with a dagger, and then eventually learned how to wield a sword and a bow. By the age of twenty-five, she was one of the finest assassins in her order. Eventually she gained enough renown and wealth to become a true "lady," though she uses this position more as a platform to continue her work than to simply amass a fortune. She also adopted the name "Cinquemani," referencing her ways as a thief, juxtaposed with her new lifestyle. This was her way of setting herself apart from her past.
Relationship-wise, she's loved only one man, but he has long since passed. They had one child together, a son, who she is not very close with. In order to teach him the ways of the world, she left him alone in it, giving him an opportunity to learn to survive on his own, and gain respect as a street-born assassin. He is unaware of his relation to Veronica, but she keeps a close watch on him, tracking his progress until the day that she brings him into the Brotherhood.
Now she lives as a regal Sicilian woman, performing her assassin duties while also taking on the title of instructor, teaching young Marcus the ways of the Brotherhood.
Kin:
Father Vincenzo de Luca da Catania
Mother Amedea Della Valle
Abilities:
Unmatched in her skill and aim with her daggers, on top of being a skilled fencer. She is also incredibly observant and aware of how to manipulate others, giving her an advantage in the field.
Weaknesses:
Sometimes Veronica can be a bit too passionate about helping others, causing her to jump into dangerous and perhaps reckless situations to help another, and this is especially true of children, for whom she has a particularly large soft spot. And though she may know how to talk around someone to manipulate them, she's not a very charismatic person, so she sometimes struggles with daily conversations. She's also not well versed on how to maintain a relationship with another person. Beyond that, she has a bit of a weak stomach when it comes to obscene amounts of gore.
Strengths:
Incredibly agile and quick on her feet, making her one of the fastest and most acrobatic assassins in the Brotherhood. She's very astute, little escaping her gaze, and her astounding memory gives her a vast wealth of knowledge to use against her foes.
Likes:
Reading, libraries, quiet, nighttime, animals, and that glorious moment when a moron is removed from a position of power.
Dislikes:
The things Veronica hates are basically comprised of the seven deadly sins: pride, wrath, envy, greed, lust, gluttony, and sloth. She hates arrogant, lazy individuals that seek out money, power, and sex, gorge themselves as they watch the peasantry starve, use their power to harm those less fortunate than them, and yet still yearn for the power of those who hold more than they do.

Name: Marcus, Il Ombra Pedinatore
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Birthplace: Messina, Sicily, Italy
Side: Assassin
Rank: Assassin Apprentice
Appearance:
Marcus is a tall, broad man. He towers above most others at six feet three inches and his impressive muscles give him a bulky two hundred and fifty pounds to work with. He has chiseled facial features further defined by his red stubble that he keeps cleanly shaped. His red hair is short and stylistically unkempt, and his deep green eyes complement his bright hair beautifully. He's incredibly fit and his muscles clearly show it.
He wears a simple white tunic, brown breeches, and worn brown leather boots for the day to day. Beyond that, he has his assassin uniform.

Weapons:
Marcus prefers a more brutal fighting style, favoring the sword above any other weapon. His primary blade is a cusped
falchion, which he dubbed Boia. He also carries a
crossbow, and a stiletto given to him by Veronica.
Personality:
Marcus is about as stubborn and reckless as they come, and he's not shy about it. His attitude is loud, and his demeanor not very light. He learned anger at a very young age, and it's been his best weapon against the world around him ever since. He can be irritable and hotheaded, and he's quick to challenge authority. Still, he concentrates his anger against those that he believes deserve it: the corrupt and the oppressive, for starters. Sure, he can be kind, but it's not something he does that often, and only for certain people. He's polite to strangers, and loving to children, but he's not an easy person to make friends with.
He's an easy person to get along with, though, in a certain sense. He likes to play for both teams, and he doesn't discriminate when it comes to who he gets in bed with, so long as he finds them attractive. On a less serious level, he does try to maintain some amount of amiability. When it comes to the Brotherhood, he may not have many friends among his brethren, but he does trust most of them.
History:
Marcus was born into an extraordinarily impoverished family on the streets of Messina, where he lived a life of base survival and in deplorable conditions for the first five years of his life. He remembers little of these first few years, other than experiencing intense amounts of fear, hunger, and pain. The first vivid memory that he retains is that of fire and blood. When he was five years old, most of his family perished in a fire. Beyond that, he recalls blood and steel, and most of what he knows of that day is what he's been told. The fire that killed his family was not accidental, and the blood and steel he remembers is from when his parents were slaughtered in front of him. The "who" and "why" to the mystery of the ones who killed his family remain a mystery. The only reason he survived is because his eldest sister hid him away during the disaster, and he was then rescued by a woman in strange robes. Years later he would come to know this woman as Veronica.
The woman didn't stick around for more than a few moments, running off to some other target almost immediately. From then on Marcus was left mostly to himself, sticking by his uncle and last remaining relative for a while afterwards. His uncle wasn't a loving or well-to-do person, and so only assisted him rather than taking him in. Marcus was still alone, more than ever before, and quickly learned how to survive on his own. He would beg, steal food and coin, pickpocket, and pick locks to get what he needed to survive. He went on like this for about nine years. When he was fourteen, he made friends with another street urchin much like himself. They began performing crimes together, and thanks to a boosted confidence from their teamwork, the scale of the crimes they performed heightened, resulting in larger rewards for larger risks. Of course, this got them noticed, but hey managed to evade direct confrontation with the authorities for two years.
During this time, the two became good friends. So good, in fact, that they eventually became romantically involved. That was about the time that Marcus's uncle decided to start pretending that he didn't exist. It hurt Marcus, but he figured it wasn't a huge loss since his uncle hadn't been a great help to him in the first place. He continued in his ways, which eventually led to a spot of trouble that led to the death of Marcus's friend. Suffice to say that didn't help with his negative views of the world, and he soon resorted to placing mental barriers around himself, shutting himself off from the world. He became angry and bitter, which caused him to challenge the authorities even more.
Eventually he got noticed by the Brotherhood, specifically by Veronica. He was young and reckless, but Veronica volunteered to take him under her wing. She recalled the boy from the day his family perished, and perhaps she took pity on him. Regardless of why, she approached him with an offer and eventually inducted him into the Brotherhood. He now trains under her, using the skills he's honed over his life to become a great assassin.

Abilities:
An incredible swordsman with quick movements. He can overpower most enemies and out speed those he cannot. He's also a skilled lock pick.
Weaknesses:
Quick to anger and easily enticed by power and attractive individuals. Not always the best at blending in and not necessarily the most observant of individuals.
Strengths:
Thanks to his training under Veronica, Marcus has learned to combine his physical strength with an agile fighting style, giving him a great balance between speed and brawn. He's also incredibly adept at sizing up his opponents and seeking out their weaknesses, allowing him to go for quick finishes in combat.
Likes:
Pomegranate, power, men and women alike, nature, climbing, helping others, and shunning authority.
