Who care about the rep and rep points?

I think the rep points are cool. They show how good of a person you are. Right now, I have 266, I think. Hm I got a bad rep for the post I made in the *****ation thread in the T-Dome XD Cant say the whole word out here where little ones can see it and start telling other people that word and I cause a chain of little kids to use that word and get slapped in the mouth by their parents XD

PC's reputation system is like communism. It was a good system when it was first thought up, but abuse of power made it suck.

If people actually gave rep points only to deserving members. Then the number of pips would be a good guage for the person's reputation...but again, abuse of the system has made it mean absolutely nothing now.

I agree. The concept is great, but it isn't followed correctly. I must admit though, that sometimes I ask people for rep, but it was when I was close to my second thingy, but I was doing it out of boredom, and I only asked two of my friends.

Unlike some people that only get rep for asking, even if most of their posts are spammy, and don't really deserve good rep.

The problem though that?s pure opinion. I respect Erica and Sarah as people, and quite a few of their posts ?deserve? rep. But someone could accuse me of just giving it to them since they?re my friends, which they are. I think if it was used better on good posts?not necessarily members (although possible if they always posted high quality stuff) per se, it?d work more towards what you say. But as is people just kinda give it for fun on any old post. And really?it?s either this or everyone ignores it. @_@; Just another trend.

Reminds me, I have yet to give it to certain friends yet ^^;; I will, for eg. once Fixen comes up with his manga work I'll give him loads ^^
The only time I gave it for fun was with my old account. It was to test out to see how many rep points I can give to people.

I realy don't care for them as you can see. I normly just show mine when i get new rep from someone. I want to see if they left a comment. That only reasoni turn it on. I like to know what people say in the rep points that all. Most of them nice comments but i got one... that very ill saying but thats ok.
