One time my Dad was drunk on holiday, and he really hurt my Mom bad. He would probably have hurt me and my sister two if the police didn't come. I was 7 at the time... for a while after that, I was kind of afraid of my dad. He doesn't get mad much, but when he does he can get really bad.

Well my father is nicer but since he's gone on TDY every now and then I get to bond with my mother and learn why she's so strict.

How much I know about my mom: age, birthday, anniversary, hometown, where she went to college, friends, past, why she's so strict.

How much I know about my dad: age, birthday, anniversary, hometown, where he went to college, 1 of his friends.

My brothers would take my dad. My Brothers are also the reason my mom is strict. Overall I'd take my mom.
 
I like my mom like a bajillion times more than my dad. He's a jer to me 24/7 and if I say anything back to him, I get grounded.

I DID however, tell him I thought he was annoying the other night. OH he was gonna hit me, but chickened out, which I found funny XD;
 
I love my mom a lot more than my dad.
My dad has two personalities
The happy one - he jokes a lot, and likes to verbally abuse my mom. He also annoys my mom. He listens to music during this mood
The Mad one - at it's worst, we have to leave the house. But normally he curses, bangs things, and yells. He gets frustrated over the stupidest things and

He's also an elitist, a conservative republican who is annoyed by my lesbian sister (although not by the lesbian part) and he's a bit closeminded. He thinks all anime is for kids and was horrified when he saw a picture from Haruhi (the guy grabbing Mikuru's breasts) and was astounded that it was a "children's show".

On the other hand, he's funny, and a good imitator and very smart and has pretty good taste in music.

I love my mom more because I'm so attached to her and I depend on her so much.

Now if my sister's boyfriend was my father, I'd love my parents equally.
 
When you say "limits" do you mean like it gets boring having him say yes ALL the time and want him to say NO for once?

OMG, my mother raised me by herself too! My dad did nothing. When I was being born he was watching TV in the hospital.
Naturally, I prefer her. I don't really get along with my dad very well. He's always eating my food and smashing my cups. You could say we are opposites.
 
I think it can easily depend on the situation.

If I am going to like an Art show, or a rock concert...I wanna go with my mom.

If I am going to go get a Jeep Scrambler, or to a football game...or wrestling event, dad is the guy to go with.

They both have their high points ^^
 
well this is sorta tough.

i love them both but for different reasons.

whenever i have gotten in trouble at school, my mum has always been there for me.
if i have gotten into fights, then my mum has been there for me.

my mum usually lets my friends stay over (or used to anyway, cos i stopped inviting them because of school and not enough time), and she was at home more.


and my dad, because me and him have sooo many similar interests....we both like electronic music very much, we are both very very good at computers, etc.

me and him can also talk more about things, and he buys me more stuff, and he also speneds time listening to my music and playing games with me.


but, i also have alot of fights with both of them.

i am sorta ashamed to say, but some of these fights have been physicial (with my dad), and usually me swearing at them, or them swearing at me.

sometimes they can be annoying as hell, and at times i wish i was out of the house, and away from them, but i love them both.

I can't really pick out a favorite. My mom's really nice and more willing to take us out places, and I really love that, but she's as bad as me sometimes with some things. I don't have my health records with me because of her. XD My stepdad can be a lazy bum, and I do disagree with him in some places, but he really does love us. He's also willing to make a deal more often than my mom. So... yeah, too hard to pick for me as well. :P

No. I mean like if I ask my dad (Ex): " Dad, can I go get a surgery? " and he says " yes "; that's quite weird. Normally, you ask why do you want to have a surgery, first, before saying yes. >>;

We've got alot in common pal, a lot in common. :(

My father provides the only trace of stability I have in my life. Too bad that I only see him 3 days a week...
 
Both of them equally. They`ve been with me all my life, so I don`t think I can choose one of them. Even though my father can be pretty strict at times, he still cares alot for my younger brother & I.
