My eldest sister is a professional cook (has been chef in two homg fancy restaurants but quit), and she says we should eat red meat only once a week. However, my city is a city of carnivores who eat the average of four times the amount of red meat than the rest of the country every year. 8D .. I do eat meat, but I'm not particularly fond of it. However, the only cut I actually like is the skirt steak. Might come with being Mexican since we use it a lot, but I like it because it's juicy and soft, yet not greasy. While on that subject, I'll say I mostly dislike meat due to its greasyness, so yeah. xD; I don't like pig very much unless it's smoked pork chop. D: ...Otherwise I'll put tons of mustard on it because it's too dry. I only like pig in a certain kind of condimented sausage for the name of which I'm too lazy to look a translation for. Anyway, my family used to be a big fan of seafood, until my dad got gout and the doctor said we should limit the consumption of these. ; w; (that means we used to eat seafood more often than every other day... it was awesome ; w; ). As for poultry, I don't really like chicken because I'm tired from it. I love turkey, though. And veggies - I love vegetables. <3, I am perfectly fine with having a meal composed of only different sort of vegetables. <3

Do you or not? Any other vegetarian, vegan, something in between, share your reasoning!

My whole family are vegetarians, but I started eating meat 2 years ago. For the majority of my life, I didn't eat meat.

I don't eat any meat that is not fish or seafood because they're not as healthy, and I don't really like them anyway. I've eaten meat all my life, but it's not as if I ever really liked it. Chicken is ok/good depending on how it's made, but beef and pork are "meh" as far as I'm concerned, seriously. So I stopped eating it, pretty much, although since I work at McD's, I occasionally eat beef or chicken anyway because it's not as I have a religious or moral reason for not eating meat; I just don't like the way most meat is prepared. XD But when really hungry or when not given much of a choice, I'll take what I can get, including meat.

I always eat meat, I have meat everyday since I love it. I also love vegetables, I like most meat and vegetables. Pork, chicken, beef, lamb, venison, fish, crustaceans, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, potatoes, corn, lettuce, cucumber, cabbage, carrots, olives, capsicums, jalapenos and so on. I love all that stuff, I love eating vegetables and I wouldn't mind going vegetarian but I just don't see why I should stop eating meat.

I quit eating meat a few months ago. I did it for ethical reasons, as I loved the taste. But at least I can still eat cheese.

I love meat. T-bone steaks are my favorite, however I am not too fond of most pig products, unless it's cooked in a way I like. But I particularly dislike deli-sliced ham. Ugh. But yeah. I love meat. And if someone doesn't like meat and is a vegetarian, I can respect that. Oh. I don't eat KFC chicken. It scares me. It just...does. -shivers-

Honestly, I don't think i can ever go vegetarian. I come from too strong a culture of barbecue and Mexican food to give up over half of my favorite foods. XD

In fact, I wish I had a steak right about now. :D

I don't make a point of eating meat, but if it's what I've got then it'll have to do.
I don't make a point of eating anything, really... but that's life.

I'm not all "OMNOMNOMNOM STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAK!" But, yes I do eat meat. I want to try going vegetarian, because it is a lot healthier, but it it will take a lot of work. I think, that, eventually I could do. But.. I want a job first so you know, I don't starve :x. Yeah, without my own my money, my choice would be eat meat or die.

Regular meat per mealtime is the healthiest way to go, (One serving of each of the four food groups) but it depends on what kind of meat you eat. If you eat the least fatty animal with the least fatty cut of meat from said animal, that is what is recommended per meal, but the other fattier meats are not as healthy to eat.
It is healthy to be vegetarian compared to eating the fatty meats, but it's healthier to eat all of the food group and not to exclude one.

Now that doesn't mean I don't like the fatty meats... XD
    Overall, I love meat. o3o

Honestly I fail to comprehend why anyone would voluntarily give up eating meat. With proper portion control you can avoid taking in more than you burn.

I really don't like how vegetarians think quite honestly because there is no rational reason, in my opinion, to stop eating meat. All the reasons I've ever heard for not eating meat are really insufficient.

I love meat, and I'm never going to give it up. Ever.

I love to eat meat, but I do have my fair share of fruits and veggies every now and then. I also know someone who went vegan.

I eat only a little meat but I have my share of vegetables. I usually have more veggies than meat actually.

I actually cannot live without meat and there's no way I would give it up for the world. I love my Veggies and dairy products too but I actually just cannot live without meat

I eat whatever I am given, but I could easily survive without eating meat, and I have done in the past. I'll probably stop eating it once I become independent and live in my house and buy my own food. I simply don't care enough to stop eating it right now because it would be quite inconvenient.

Anyone who is saying it's healthier to be a vegetarian, no it is not healthier. It's also not healthier to be an omnivore. Neither diet is healthier than the other; both can be managed in a way so that both are perfectly healthy.

    I looooveee meat!
    It's just sooooo delicious!
I don't understand how can someone not like it...

I eat meat, because it is part of the cycle of life and tastes nice. Everything eats another thing to survive, even if the the animal is a herbivore. I wouldn't consider not eating meat, but I don't condemn those who don't. I couldn't imagine not eating meat, so I choose to eat it, and save myself the hastle.

I've been vegetarian here and there, but I've gotten back into my meat eating habits this summer, it can be quite tempting when your family is full of meat eaters believe it or not, though I don't eat it constantly at all, I just eat it when we have the actual money to buy it since it's usually expensive well me my family at least.
