6th Gen Who was sad when they got latios in Omega Ruby

    When I saw Latias when I got on that island, I was so thrilled. I was going to get one of my favourite Pokemon, instead I got Latios as I own Omega Ruby and not Alpha Sapphire, (I just find Groundon cooler). Still, I like that I have a Latios, it just that I always preferred Latios, she is just so cute.

    Thankfully I can still get Latias, I just need an Eon Ticket and someone that has Latias pass me when I have streetpass on... unfortunately I live in a town of 15,000, so it may take awhile.
     
    I kinda figured that you would get Latios in OR since he was the one exclusive to the original Ruby while Latias was in Sapphire.

    The only thing about getting Latios that is making me sad right now is that I still haven't got a shiny one after almost 200 soft resets. :p

    I'm so used to having the shiny charm, I forgot how rarer shinies are without it.
     
    I personally prefer Latias better of the two so given I played Alpha Sapphire I was more excited for Latias (despite Latios being my signature colour) but I love both Latis anyway so it's not much of an issue.

    As a person who has never really bothered with Shiny's, I have to ask, does a Shiny have better stats than the original version, or is it that they look different and that is why everybody wants them?
     
    the reason i first choose alpha saphire was because I did research on version exclusives and choose it mostlyy because latias i have both versions now though

    The only difference is the colour. People want them because they're rare and some Pokemon look nicer in their shiny colours.
     
    The mega of Latios Latias are very very ugly, I think u would agree with me bc you find Latias cute.
    I mean, how could u have hand blend like that and wings become air fighter's wings, it is just ugly.

    Perhaps the reconfigured Mauville resembled one enough for the confusion.

    Still, at least the Groudon is perhaps more distinct, if you needed it. In all likelihood each version has a fair few exclusives by this point, so you could see a lot of potential annoyance around that. Latios has a fair few fans, and is designed to be similar to Latias in most ways, so in all likelihood that might not be one which stands out.

    I've always loved Latias most out of the duos and I was unhappy when my friend bought Sapphire first last time, I made him trade with me when we got ours.

    So I got AS right away hahah.
